Ocean Prime is frequented by many firms located in Time Square and along 6th Avenue, so it tends to be very busy after 5pm and a reservation is highly recommended. This was among my favorite restaurants before the diagnosis, so I was a little wary returning in knowing that my options would likely be extremely limited. I was completely blown away by our servers knowledge on what dishes can be made gf - almost half the menu! Our server was also able to help me choose and modify a dish based on my additional intolerances/allergies. The food was as exceptional as I remember and I did not react despite having a heightened sensitivity to gluten.

Great food, excellent staff. Nice to sit on the outside patio after a long day. Menu marked and Staff very knowledgeable about what is gluten free. If you want a dish not marked gluten free they will check with Chef to see if arrangements are possible. Gluten free food is marked in kitchen.

Excellent waitstaff & food we explained that I have celiac & my husband has gluten sensitivity. We plan to return when we visit NYC again.

We went before a show and had a great meal. Great service with education about what gluten can be customized. Our server was excellent! Yes, it's a pricey place but worth the treat. We loved everything and they made me feel comfortable with every dish. They do have a dedicated gluten-free menu but many things on the menu can be customized and they are very willing to do it

Ocean Prime has a separate gluten free menu with a nice selection of seafood, steaks and side dishes. Our dinner was wonderful and the service was excellent. We could not decide between steak and seafood and they said we could create our own surf and turf. I ordered the artic char and a mini filet au poivre. I loved them both. The creme brulee was also great. It was a wonderful meal to celebrate my husband learning that he's cancer free!

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner here. The staff were well versed in handling celiac. The menu is clearly marked, and I felt confident ordering. Our food was lovely, the gluten free food was flagged and announced at the table. I had the pork chop, we shared roasted brussel sprouts and shared the crème brûlée for dessert. Highly recommended this restaurant especially if a special occasion.

I was so shocked that they had GF bread for me! Very impressed with that. They didn’t have a dedicated GF menu but the server actually went through the whole menu with me to review the options available. Again, very impressive. I got the Chilean sea bass and it was very good! Would recommend and gladly go again.

We had a great experience! The entire staff from the time we walked in knew I had an allergy and eat dish was labeled with allergy picks. Also they had gluten free bread to start the meal. I had an awesome steak and the jalapeño au gratin potatoes. Also they had gluten free chocolate cake. It’s was a 10/10

Visited during restaurant week and had a wonderful experience. The bar staff made me an amazing cucumber cocktail (with a new to me potato vodka), and the waitress checked with kitchen about a few ingredients to be sure everything was safe. (Wheat, oat, barley, rye, and malt allergies here). Everyone made me feel 100% comfortable and the food was delicious. It’s also worth noting that my husband’s steak came out a little over cooked for his liking, and they replaced it in only a few minutes. Service was phenomenal.
