Had a GF menu (not much for a picky kid). Hostess was lovely but server did not make us feel confident in ordering for my daughter so we opted to skip the meal for her and she had food from home. Food was ok and drinks were not great.

Great live music and they do have a gluten free menu, but I’m also vegetarian and the salad with mandarins was iceberg lettuce with a few mandarins and vinegar dressing. Also the edamame was pretty boring. Might be better for meat eaters.

Great experience! Separate GF menu includes sushi (3 rolls). I had a half order ahi roll, my first sushi since diagnosis 5 years ago. Very filling and tasty, only ate half of it!

The website feels like a fine dining and local Hawaiian good destination but it is more like a bar atmosphere with only local fish as Hawaiian food. There is a separate gluten free menu which is helpful. But pretty sure I got glutened here.

Waitress was very knowledgable, they DO have a separate GF menu with a wide selection. Food was wonderful and came out really fast. Restaurant was clean and played good music. Was a little hard to find the entrance because there are several eateries in the same place but the locals told us right where to go.

Went for an early dinner during Happy Hour, and was thrilled to see the options for food on their GF menu. I questioned Tyler about the Huli Huli chicken really being GF and he had a good understanding of my concerns since I am a celiac. There were quite a few options available too. I had a Mai Tai, which was fine, and the chicken which was half a chicken with mashed potatoes, sauce, and veggies, was awesome! I did not have any post symptoms either. Did not ask if have dedicated fryers, so can’t post higher for safety….Will definitely go again.

Not celiac-safe. They had a gluten-free menu but it seemed like it’s basically just for the gluten-free-dieters. I told them I had an allergy (celiac). She brought out the food (got the gluten-free fish tacos that came with chips). I did not do a good job with questioning her beforehand when I was ordering, but she neglected to tell me that the fryer is shared. The fish on the gluten free tacos are fried in a shared fryer, and the chips that come with the tacos are from a shared fryer. I ended up having some of their poke without the wonton shell it usually comes in.

Pleasant experience at Ohana. There were plenty of options on the separate GF menu. I had the seafood risotto and the California roll. Great food and atmosphere.

Very knowledgeable about gluten free needs. I had the catch of the day with risotto. It was delicious! Good size portions, friendly service, great location on the south side of Maui.

They don't appear to have the gluten- free menu online, but they did have it at the restaurant and it has quite a few items on it. Huli-huli chicken was excellent.

The staff was knowledgeable, the food was okay. I had a California roll which wasn’t very good, but I was happy to have something to eat while out with friends. There were some other options too- I just can’t remember what they were now.

We looked up the gluten free menu online before going. When we arrived they had all of those things but noted that in addition, they have made all of their sauces gluten free and made sure there was no hidden gluten on their menu. So as long as you don’t order bread or something that obviously contains gluten you should be good.

Separate gf menu with a great selection and the best sushi I've had since my diagnosis and they had gf soy sauce. I felt assured that precautions were taken to keep my order gf.

My waitress was very knowledgeable about gluten free and was able to offer choices and said that she puts a special note on the order that it’s “celiac gluten free” for the chef. My daughter had fish tacos and did not get sick.

I own the only 100% gluten free restaurant in Maui. I decided to try it this restaurant for lunch on my day off. Being Celiac, options are usually limited (at best). I had their Sushi roll for lunch (they made it with tamari sauce instead of soy sauce, upon request and they gladly did it). I have lived on Maui for seven years and I must say it was the best lunch I have ever had living on Maui. They have other options available and the owner said he was in the process of putting together a stand alone gluten free menu to hand to their guests. Fantastic!!!!! I expect to eat here as often as I can. This will be a restaurant that I will recommend to my customers.

UPDATE: I totally got sick later. NOT SAFE. Waitress was clueless. Chef seemed confused. I got ahi poke which was made with GF soy sauce but came out in what looked like a fried wonton bowl, and she wasn't sure about the sauce on my white rice. So I didn't eat the rice. I do not recommend.

Their GF options didn't seem to be very large (could have been our waitress - but she was super nice), but what I did get - fish tacos with house made chips and salsa - was amazing.

Everyone here is very knowledgeable about celiac and food allergies. The owner (Shane) one of the most friendliest and funniest person you will meet made my food himself and it was the best poke I have ever had. Emma recommended the grilled shrimp screwers with the sweet chili sauce and that was fabulous. This is a must when you are in Maui!!!!

Staff was knowledgeable about what is fried and what you can and can’t eat. They modified the slaw to make it dry without mayo which was great. They also have gluten free soy sauce which they couldn’t find the night I ordered. I ate the Hawaiian Poke which was amazing! See picture

This place was very knowledgeable about food allergens and customized our meals for both gluten and soy allergies. We were able to customize the tacos and the poke and salads. They were open to changing anything we needed and the food was delicious.
