I had a great experience here! I called earlier in the day and inquired about their GF/celiac protocols. I talked to Jeremy and he let me know to let my server know I had celiac (state as a severe “allergy”) when I order from the GF menu, and to ask for the manager after ordering. When I arrived, I did as instructed. Not too long after that the manager came by. She assured me that they have strict safety protocols in place, including separate cooking area, changing gloves etc. She said that she would also supervise them preparing my dish, in order to make sure all protocols were followed. They brought my dish out first and checked on me multiple times! I am an extremely sensitive celiac and did not have any issues or reactions from eating there. Will definitely go again!

I'm a newbie to the GF lifestyle, so hopefully this is helpful. I went to Olive Garden for the first time after going gluten free. They had a separate paper menu with gluten free selections. I ordered the gluten free pasta with meat sauce, and the salad (without croutons). It was great! My server came out and told me that it does take longer to make because they have dedicated pots and pans, and the cook preparing the GF dish does not touch anything else in the kitchen when preparing the food to ensure that there is no cross contamination. She also mentioned too that if there is only one cook working it could really cause a delay in service. Thankfully, we visited at an 'off peak time' so my food arrived relatively quickly, and tasted great! I was very appreciative of the fact that she mentioned all of this to me. As I mentioned, I'm new to the whole GF lifestyle, so any info that is given is wonderful! Yay! 🍝

Their GF pasta is cooked in the same water with the gluten pasta. I was so sick after eating here. I will never eat here again!
No
My experience tonight at Olive Garden was excellent. The waitress was knowledgeable about my options. Then the manager came over and acknowledged that I had requested for gluten-free options and insured me that they would change gloves to maximize safety. Then a third person came over to serve food and he pointed out that it was gluten-free and that they changed their gloves when making my food. I don't have allergies, but I am sensitive to gluten. I don't know if it would be safe for celiac, but it was safe for me.

I have eaten here twice and both times it was great! The servers are knowledgeable and their menu has everything labeled well so you can see what you have to choose from! They also instantly knew and aknowledged no croutons on the salad as soon as I mentioned a gluten allergy. I do wish they had more sauce options than what was listed.
