I ordered gluten free pasta primavera. I was surprised to see they improved the gluten free options. It was delicious until I ate a quarter of it and found three pieces of spaghetti in it! Manager apologized and told me that staff is trained in gluten free prep. They are supposed to use separate pots and strainers. Clearly someone messed up and I got sick . They did offer to remake it. Course the nausea had already begun so I said no. Might not happen at all locations but clearly this locations kitchen staff did not understand gluten allergy. After my talk with the manager maybe it will not happen to another but I won't be going back anytime soon.
No
I was worried about eating at the olive garden after reading reviews online but I had the mixed grill and it was good. a little over seasoned but good. waiter took in upon himself to bring the croutons on the side so I didn't have to worry about eating the salad. friendly and accommodating
Yes
The menu at olive garden offered GF options but very few, and I was disappointed to spend so much for a plate of pasta with very little sauce and the chicken I ordered on the side was burned. My meal looked nothing like the picture on the website of the dish and I was very unsatisfied with the taste! The waitress was friendly and the service good but the GF meal I had was not worth the steep prices. If your looking for a tasty pasta dinner be ready for dry, no cheese and no bread of any type to go with it. Such is life for us celiacs but olive garden could and should step it up a few notches!!!
My experience tonight at Olive Garden was excellent. The waitress was knowledgeable about my options. Then the manager came over and acknowledged that I had requested for gluten-free options and insured me that they would change gloves to maximize safety. Then a third person came over to serve food and he pointed out that it was gluten-free and that they changed their gloves when making my food. I don't have allergies, but I am sensitive to gluten. I don't know if it would be safe for celiac, but it was safe for me.

I have eaten here twice and both times it was great! The servers are knowledgeable and their menu has everything labeled well so you can see what you have to choose from! They also instantly knew and aknowledged no croutons on the salad as soon as I mentioned a gluten allergy. I do wish they had more sauce options than what was listed.
