If you have to eat out at Olive Garden with other people as a GF person it's really not bad and I had no problem wth the server understanding my needs. She made sure the salad would have no croutons, checked that the dressing was gluten free, and ensured the pasta would be made safely. Really you just can't have the breadsticks. However it is a very limited menu for GF and sometimes they run out of the pasta so maybe call ahead to check.
Yes
Only one option for people with celiac, I wouldn't recommend it
their are very few choices, strongly recommend someplace else
No
I'm giving them a second star because they actually have a gluten free menu, but like so many restaurants the gf menu is separate, which means if they are buys you practically have to grab the host before they run away to ask for it. And of course it is a very small menu. There was only one thing on it that I would eat, and unfortunately it was not good at all. This isn't the kind of meal you go out for. It looked like something a child would make while experimenting, and didn't taste much better. Not only was it a poor food combination, but the pasta was not even fully cooked. I guess they did not think that gluten free pasta may take a little longer than normal pasta. Not only was my entree a let down, but the server told me how he made a salad for me with croutons, and then though "oh, I bet he can't eat this." That tells me that the servers are preparing some of the food, and that they do not have a clear procedure for people who are ordering gf.
My experience tonight at Olive Garden was excellent. The waitress was knowledgeable about my options. Then the manager came over and acknowledged that I had requested for gluten-free options and insured me that they would change gloves to maximize safety. Then a third person came over to serve food and he pointed out that it was gluten-free and that they changed their gloves when making my food. I don't have allergies, but I am sensitive to gluten. I don't know if it would be safe for celiac, but it was safe for me.

I have eaten here twice and both times it was great! The servers are knowledgeable and their menu has everything labeled well so you can see what you have to choose from! They also instantly knew and aknowledged no croutons on the salad as soon as I mentioned a gluten allergy. I do wish they had more sauce options than what was listed.
