Opal Basil on the Trace

I have celiac, they totally accommodated! We loved it!! The red pepper and crab meat quest was delicious and the mushroom tamale was amazing too!! Highly recommend!!! Super knowledgable staff. They chef came out to speak to us twice.

Knowledgeable staff. Delicious food. I avoided the fried foods since it wasn't clear if they had a dedicated GF fryer. I really enjoyed the experience here!

A real treat to have such a fresh, unique meal. The Latin inspired dishes are very creative, the chef very knowledgeable about Celiac. He helpfully came to our table to make recommendations and tell us how he would accommodate. A bit expensive but worth it.

Almond encrusted shrimp po-boy on GF French bread?! Awesome... Lemon/Basil water ...refreshingly delish.

This restaurant is wonderful! The lobster tamale is worth the trip! So good! All of the staff are completely knowledgeable about Celiac. Safe and delicious food. Chef Vasquez uses locally grown veggies, farm fresh eggs and local ingredients to make the most delicious combinations. Smaller plates to share. Tapas. The butternut squash cheesecake is to die for. Almost everything on the menu is GF. You will love this place!
