Update fall 2023: they have flour tortillas on the menu now as well as other gluten items. They do still have a dedicated fryer.

Otra is a Mexican restaurant with a small menu that is all gluten free except one item with beer. I have ordered a few different tacos, appetizers and drinks. Because of the limited gluten on the menu, I feel safe, but I don't know how many precautions they take. Dedicated fryer. Good selection of tequila and mezcal.

Couldn’t be simpler. The entire menu is gluten free except for the muscles (made with beer). Desserts aren’t on the menu. The last time it was Tres Leches cake which of course had gluten so was a no go. I’ve been a few times and had no gluten-related issue. The food is delicious albeit on the spicy/hot side. Great service and vibe. Definitely becoming a regular spot.

One of my favorite GF places in SF, almost everything on the menu is GF. Menu items unfortunately aren’t marked as GF but I double check every time I come and the servers seem very knowledgeable when I mention my allergy. The beef tacos are so amazing. I have been a bunch of times and always feel safe eating here.
