We went to outback as a group of 12. The manager Andrew was very accommodating and put together a table for us even though we had only been able to call ahead as a split group. He said he would personally oversee our three gluten free meals since I had trouble last time went came here. We did not get sick at all which was great. However, the kitchen did not cook our steaks properly at all. My son and I both requested medium rare . His was rare and mine was between medium and well done. My friends was also way over cooked twice! Our waitress elzbeth was fantastic. She was kind and very cautious about our food allergies and felt very badly about the cooking mistakes. My husband liked his steak and my sweet potato was delicious and the kids mashed potatoes very good as well. Over good bc we didn’t get sick but lots of aggravation from the back and forth with recooking the meals.

We had a great meal and was impressed with the amount of GF options available, they have an extensive separate GF menu. Megan, our server was very good, she went out of her way to answer our questions and even went back to the kitchen (more then once) to talk to the chefs. We were able to get the shrimp on the barbie that was not on the GF menu. I had the grilled salmon and my boyfriend had the Porter house and with the pecan brownie for dessert. Error, the manager even came over and spoke with us.

I got the grilled chicken on the barbie and a baked potato and had no issues. Just be sure to remind them not to add croutons if you're ordering a salad.

They were great about watching for cross contamination and brought my plate out separately from my family's. They didn't really have many menu options that weren't steak, but I ordered the grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, and side Ceasar salad. The food was really bland, and the mashed potatoes were worse than school lunches in the 80s. They were flavorless, almost translucent, and disappointing. The chicken was decent but not my favorite. I had better food at another steakhouse chain.

Outback as a chain has always been safe for me. I order the grilled chicken on the barbie with double veggies and have never had a reaction, including at this location!

I ate here twice while I was in town. They note the GF allergy for the kitchen and when they bring it to the table the server knew it was designated GF
