Wonderful. Outback is generally considered a safe chain, so we came for our anniversary. I’d checked out the gluten free menu beforehand (https://outbackmenus.com/GlutenFree2203/) but still asked the waiter if they had a gluten free menu in case there was a physical one. He said it wasn’t his first rodeo and they could make most things gluten free, and he’d let me know if I picked something they couldn’t. I just decided to go with the online menu. I’ll post pictures—I got the 8 Oz filet mignon with mashed potatoes and veggies, and added grilled shrimp from the Plus It Up section. I’m not sure I’d add the shrimp again—mostly they tasted like slightly smoky shrimp with no seasoning, so I added salt. For dessert, I got the Chocolate Thunder from Down Under, which is a pecan gf brownie with ice cream. It was so nice to have a baked, warm dessert. Everything was very good (except the mediocre shrimp), and the steak was so tender. Of course I didn’t get sick. We’ll definitely be back.
