I went to Outback and informed them of my needs as a celiac. They cooked a delicious meal and were very helpful. They have a gluten free menu. They do well regarding dietary needs. Ask for the manager and inform her and the kitchen. Hope this helps, and happy dining!

The food is good, but I went there twice last week. I specifically said that I wanted my order gluten free - no croutons, no sauces that contained gluten, etc. This was the Outback to go thingy. When I got home, I was pleased, at first...my order didn't have bread, etc; on it, but inside the bag was a huge whopping hunk of bread. This has happened on several occasions. The second time, the bread wasn't in a "bag" I could just throw out. I had to actually touch the bread, and ended up with a rash on my face. Not cool.

This place is incredible! I have gone twice in one week. They have an actual gluten free menu including a drink menu for the bar. Even the servers and bar tenders are educated on gluten free. Some VP of Outback higher up is a celiac so they have been doing gluten free for a long time. Steaks don't use butter or gluten seasoning either. They won't even bring bread to the table if u don't want it. It's really relaxing.

I've frequented this Outback many times. The staff is knowledgeable, courteous and will work with your diet. Being GFCF they assured me they cook the ribs over an open flame, not on a shared grill, and would ensure that my dinner was prepared GFCF. I had the ribs without the BBQ sauce and a side of asparagus. The manager, Vita, came over as I ordered to make sure my questions were answered and that they understood my needs. Another great experience here at Outback!

We visited this restaurant for my father's 70th Birthday. My sister and I both suffer from a severe gluten sensitivity so we were very pleased when the manager came by to ensure that our meals were being prepared properly. The GF menu was rather large and gave plenty of information on what to exclude from each dish. My only criticism is that when our meals were delivered by a different waitress and she wasn't sure which were gluten free. Fortunately our original waitress came to the rescue and cleared up the confusion. All in all, not the most stressful dining experience I've had thus far and the food was pretty good as well :)

I will NEVER visit this location again. Despite being so far away, we really like Outback and wanted to try it. First visit - my husband became violently ill. Our waiter was more concerned with flirting with the table of four women in their late 20s-early 30s than with anything to do with us. We didn't order alcohol, so we never saw him again until he brought our food and then brought our check. That was it. Three whole visits. We complained and received a free dessert coupon - that we couldn't use! When I mentioned it, the manager wrote we could get one of the two gf options instead. So about two weeks later, we make the LONG drive down south to eat at this location. Second visit - my husband becomes violently ill. Our waitress told us they didn't have gf selections because they weren't "that kind of restaurant". We asked to be reseated with a new waiter/waitress. That was a huge commotion, and the waitress threw a tantrum about it in front of everyone. New table, new waitress, we finally order. The food delivered is not what we ordered, not how we ordered it, and not gf. Also, we received alcoholic beverages - which we did not order nor can consume. We get through the meal and my husband is violently ill before we leave the restaurant. He goes to the bathroom to be sick and is there for over half an hour. During this time, I am asked THREE TIMES to leave so they can have the table. We haven't even gotten the check yet! We don't even order the free dessert we went for. In the parking lot, I call the restaurant and ask for the manager. I complain about the HORRIBLE service we received, and he starts to yell at me over the phone. I mention I'm in the parking lot, and he comes to my car and yells at me in person. I wanted to call the cops, I was so scared! A LONG time passes, and we're craving Outback. So we decide to give it ONE MORE CHANCE. Third visit - our waiter sits us at a dirty table, then at the bar (which we specifically said we didn't want), and finally at a booth that was clean. We ordered drinks and our entrees (since we know what we eat there). The drinks come with the entrees 45 minutes later. Mine has everything on it I asked to be left off; my husband's is missing the bacon. Both have mashed potatoes with gravy instead of loaded baked potatoes. We send them back and the manager comes over to ask "what our problem is". As soon as I mention that we're gluten-free he says, "Oh. You're that bitchy couple that's always in here complaining about our bad food. Well let me tell you - my staff is trained and certified in gluten-free service. Our food is the best around, and this restaurant is perfect. If you don't like it, then stop eating here. We don't want you here anyways." We were so shocked, and so were the people around us. I started crying, I was so upset and humiliated. We left, and three other tables left with us. In the parking lot, they all spoke with us to find out what was going on. WE WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN. Outback is amazing, but this location can frankly go to hell and take its "perfect" and "best around" food with it. You poison my husband and myself, yell in my face, and blame me? Nope. BAD RESTAURANT, BAD SERVICE. Stay away.

Today (Sunday) January 13th, 2013, around 3:30 PM we went to your restaurant to eat. This 1st bad thing that happened was the person seated us in a section of a girl about to get off work, and right in front of us she scolded him for it. I knew then, things weren't going to go well. She brought no napkins of silverware, but took our order, then told us another person would be taking care of the rest of our time there. Then the other "take over" person brought a perfectly burned blooming onion that we waited for forever. I got up and went to a table and got our own rolled silverware from a vacant table. A manager came over and asked if everything was ok. We told him the blooming onion was burned and he agreed. He said he would take it off our bill.He apologized and said he saw me get our silverware from another table. The two people at a table close to us came in after we did and were served their meal first. Then our food came and I got completely ripped off on my Cobb salad. It was warm lettuce and sparse chicken for I believe 11.99. My mother and husband only ordered a hamburger each, and it took 45 minutes to get this simple food. Our waiter that took over from the girl who got off work tried to make up for everything by being nice, but it didn't make up for the HOT salad and burned blooming onion. What kind of chef or cook tries to pawn burned food off on a customer? What kind of chef serves a Hot salad? If we had ordered a Steak and baked potato dinner I could see it taking a little longer, but this order was as simple as it gets. Won't be going back, we are afraid of a repeat on all this mayhem. Guess you cannot go to Outback at 3:30 in the afternoon and expect a decent meal. Wish we had just gone by McDonald's because it wasn't at ALL worth the taste or the TIME it took to get all that bad service and food. The management needs to have a "Huddle" with her team. This left a bad Taste" in our mouth for this restaurant!

We have loved the Outback Steakhouse for years! I was diagnosed with CD in January 2012 and this has been our go to restaurant! The GF menu is terrific! There are many options and it tells you what you can and can't have as side dishes. The servers are fairly knowledgeable - depending on which restaurant we go to. My kids love it! We can get a great meal for them for a good price with lots of gluten free options that they LOVE! Just be sure to ask for the GF menu when you walk in. They have them at the hostess stand.

My wife ordered a 6oz Steak with salad, whilst I ordered an 11oz steak with mashed potatoes and mixed veg. To begin with, my wife was served her salad minus the steak, my meal wasn't served me, (minus the mashed potatoes) until after my wife had eaten her salad, I was told that the last batch of mashed potatoes went rather quickly and they were still waiting on the next batch. In the meantime we were offered a plate of fries between us and it wasn't until after we had eaten these that the mashed potatoes arrived. So not only did my wife and I NOT enjoy eating our meals together, our meals were served in stages. Despite all this inconvenience, and the manageress having to come to our table to explain the reason for the poor service, we were not offered any form of compensation as a token of goodwill. We left disgusted, with a promise never to return..

This is my favorite go-to steakhouse. They are very attentive to detail and are trained in serving folks who require g/f. Never gotten ill after eating there. Love it that I can have dessert there too. Thank you for caring, Outback. We love you!

My food came out not only on the same tray as the rest of our group, but the plate was actually touching the sandwich on another plate. Half a star is what I was going for. I asked for and was given the GF menu. I ordered the mahi, no veggies with the garlic mashed potatoes. It states on the menu that the seasoned rice is not GF. I even mentioned that my meal had to be gluten free. Then the meal came WITH the rice. She, the server, said she would double check on the rice. During this time my husband and son are already eating. When she came back, she said yeah, the seasoning on the rice isn't GF and she had them start another order. What I did NOT like was that she then said if she had known I had to have GF that she would have told me about the rice!!! Not sure how much more it would have taken for her to know.... I guess the gluten free menu and my comment wasn't enough of a clue. By the time I got my food (again) everyone else was almost finished eating. I ate some of it, but I'm feeling a bit sick already. I will say that it was tasty, but no more Outback for me. Sad, really, another restaurant I don't trust. Seriously, if they can't honor a GF menu, why offer it?

Folks, this is outback––that pseudo aussie accent somehow convinced a certain segment to pay a big price for fast-food served on a plate... by gum-popping teenagers working their first jobs. I guess it's better than starving when you're are out of options, but not much. Just go to a REAL restaurant and order a steak, potato and salad without croutons... last time I checked these items were inherently GF. If a steak is good, all you need is salt, pepper and some butter. I like teenagers just fine too, but they're better suited to mickey-d's. And they never get the accent right.

Hoping for the best. Stay tuned....ok...so dinner came and as feared did not come out as ordered. We had to ask for mustard 3 times until the manager came over herself and replaced one entree and for our trouble took it off the bill. Just sitting and waiting we kept hearing multiple servers apologize for lots of different things. While they tried to accommodate this is not a place I would recommend or go back to. That is unfortunate because it is the only advertised GF restaurant in this area.

I've been to the Aurora location several times and lately, it seems they have had trouble with getting my GF order to be GF. I always alert the waiter/waitress about my food alergy, and within 5 minutes the manager comes to the table with their canned speech about how they will personally ensure my meal is prepared correctly. That song and dance routine has really fallen flat for me, since it often takes several tries for them to get a GF meal to me- usually after the rest of my party has finished their entire meal. No apology from the manager, but they blame the cooks instead. No comped meal either.

Large, yummy gluten free menu. Waiter was very knowledgeable about what was safe for me to eat. I was able to order like a normal person, and did not have to ask 100 questions. It was refreshing!
