The homemade gluten free bread was amazing! The portions were large and generous. The food choices were extensive and so much (most) was gluten free!!! Also it was dairy free because they are kosher. The owner and her daughter were very friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed our meals and my son throughly enjoyed his French toast.

I have eaten here multiple times, the food is great lots of options and if they run out of items when you go for a late dinner they will figure it out for you.

Great food and friendly service. This will become our regular stop through Terre Haute. Our gluten sensitive kiddo really enjoyed his French toast, and he had so many GF choices. (The food for the gluten eaters got a thumbs up, too.) Thank you!!

From the owner
All of our soups, sandwiches, main dishes, the entire menu is gluten free. We have specialty bakery items that are gluten free but the entire delicatessen menu is gluten free! We also have breakfast all day. We are farm to table. We make our own bread and use non gmo & organic flour, fruits, and vegetables. We care about food like you care about food.

What a great find! I love family restaurants. One of the daughters was so welcoming and told us all about her family. Her mother is gluten free and she was there cooking, so there was no issue for me to get a turkey/pastrami sandwich with coleslaw. I got the "smaller" lunch sandwich that was big enough that I ate the second half the next day! They also had a gluten free bundt cake that was delicious. Next time we travel through this way, we will definitely stop here for a meal! My husband enjoyed chicken noodle soup and hummus with pita bread (he is not gluten free).

Most of their menu items are, or can be made, gluten free, and the staff are very knowledgeable about the need to protect against cross-contamination. The food was delicious. I had a South African sweet potato stew that was wonderfully spiced, latkes, and cake. All of it was so tasty, and we had a nice conversation with the friendly daughter of the owner/chef. We were just driving through Terra Haute while traveling. If I lived closer, I’d eat there regularly. Highly recommend!

this is such a great allergen friendly restaurant—your best option in this town really! there is SO many options and very delicious! there is no gluten free menu, but that’s because basically EVERYTHING can be made gluten free! they even could make my FAVORITE MEAL OF ALL TIME (chicken schnitzel) gluten free! the owner is gluten intolerant, so the entire staff is super knowledgeable about gluten, take allergens super seriously, and there seems to be a separate kitchen. this is a trustworthy and delicious establishment that i would return to in a heartbeat!

Excellent! Everything we had was delicious. The owner has a gluten allergy so she knows how to take care of you! Sic of us dined. We all had something different and no complaints at all. No concerns about cross contamination. We will definitely be back.

I have never had a bad experience here! Everything is kosher/dairy free and most menu items can be made gluten free. Owner is very kind and is sympathetic towards dietary restrictions as she has many herself.
Some gluten free items are marked on the menu but make sure to ask because there is more than is marked as they often rotate menu items with the season.
