    Amazing!! Took our kids for lunch. Our server was so attentive and friendly. Kids loved the fresh pressed mango juice! We had a few tacos, lots of their homemade GF corn tortillas, some black bean soup and THE BEST tamales of our lives! Kids and hubby had guacamole and tortilla chips. Said they were excellent. Server was kind to inform me that because I was celiac, I should stay clear of tortilla chips due to cross contamination. No problem for me. Their warm corn tortillas were better than chips anyway! Writing this review several hours later and still feel great. This restaurant was a total home run for us.

    More of a nicer place but good food. Dont expect much for your dollar though. Special menu for allergies.

    Good flavors good service nice decor. Attention to GF though menu is confusing Only negative is small portions and higher prices.

    Loved this restaurant! Extensive authentic Mexican food menu, with gluten free desert options as well. My quesadilla was delicious! Amazing atmosphere, guacamole made right in front of you, really fun place to eat. However, this restaurant is not really kid friendly. My 9 year old little brother didn't like how different the food was.

    Oyamel has a great GF menu! They have tons of options and the kitchen staff is very well trained to avoid cross contamination. In my experiences there the entire staff was knowledgable. Things to avoid: 1. The chips are fried in contaminated oil but the staff is happy to sub corn tortillas for free! 2. The margaritas are not gluten free but can be made gluten free if you ask! 3. Ordering something you know is on the GF menu is not enough! You must inform your waiter because the kitchen staff makes changes to the cooking preparation when gluten free is requested

    Everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable. One word of warning--the corn chips do not have a dedicated fryer. The gf menu is extensive.
