Great tasting food. Waitress was knowledgeable and my plate came out marked GF. It was packed, but they bring the meals quickly! Margarita was so-so.

I loved my experience here! The gluten free information is online to look for options. The staff was very knowledgeable and knew that the chips are in a dedicated gf fryer so are safe. She also told me before I ordered that she will write I have celiacs to ensure extra precautions for cross contact. The food was yummy too!!!!

I have eaten here countless times with no issues at all ( I have celiac). They have a dedicated fryer for chips, and an allergen menu you can request. The food is also amazing! I feel very safe eating here

Would not return. Staff was not familiar with gluten free items and our waitress had no idea if there was a gf or allergy menu. I ordered a couple of tacos and I didn’t get sick, but they were just ok - nothing special.

There are a number of different menu items to choose from that are gluten free. I feel like Charlotte in general struggles with really good Mexican food (that’s safe for Celiacs) so I found this place to be solid but nothing special.

Always have a great experience and have never had a problem! Separate gluten free menu and most things can be modified. Chips are in a separate fryer and can get tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, salads, etc. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

They have a separate fryer for the chips so that makes for a special treat out to be able to have chips and salsa safely. They have a gluten friendly menu and will work with you to ensure your meal is safe. Never had an issue here.

Biggest excitement: they told me the chips are made in a dedicated gluten free fryer!!

The allergen “menu” is a bit confusing but very comprehensive (it is a chart of all their menu items with markings for each major allergen stating whether the item doesn’t contain that allergen, could be modified to be safe, or could not be modified). The wait staff explained the menu and offered suggestions and seemed knowledgeable. There were plenty of gluten free options and the waitress said she would pass along my safety requests to the kitchen (glove change etc).

I’ve only eaten here twice since going GF. The first time at the restaurant I was good. When I ordered the same meal for takeout a month later, I got very sick. The food is very good but I personally have not found them to be consistent regarding GF food. Also, our waiter at the restaurant did not know they had a GF menu…. I had seen it online so insisted he ask and then he brought it to me.

Very good! I can't answer for sure on cross contamination because they were super busy so who knows what was going on in the kitchen. I do know however I didn't feel sick! Everything was yummy and to go eat tacos being gluten free was amazing!

Food was delicious and there were tons of GF options. I got the chicken fajitas and it was amazing, love that it had zucchini and squash in it. Our waiter was really knowledgeable too, and even told us that over the last couple of months they’ve become more knowledgeable since one of their managers found out they could no longer have gluten.

The food is average but the customer service is horrible. It’s difficult for the staff to understand request and I’m not confident they understand the implications of cross contamination.

Pacos tacos is delicious and loved by my fellow celiac friends and no celiac friends. They have a dedicated fryer so you eat real, fresh chips like a real human. It’s a good spot for both lunch and dinner and I’ve never had a problem eating here. The staff is well versed and takes celiac patrons and other allergies seriously. It’s nice to go to a place that doesn’t bat an eye or make you feel like an inconvenience when you have dietary restrictions

The food here is delicious. If you want food made without gluten, this is a great place. If you have celiac though this may not be a great place. Their disclaimer at the bottom of their “Gluten Friendly” menu is further evidence of it.

Lots of options on a separate GF menu!

Lots of Gf options. BUT had to ask lots of questions and our food still came out with flour tortillas even after reassuring with our waiter that it was going to be gluten free. I've eaten here before and had no issues but today was terrible.

They do offer gf items & offered to clean the prep area for me but their grills/griddles share the stage with their gluten items. Be aware & ask lots of questions. That being said, I have never been sick from my years of eating here. I enjoy the food so much!

The service was excellent. Our chip basket remained full and fresh, and our drinks never were less than ½ full. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu and allergens (hard to find!). He took time to reassure me that they're very careful in the kitchen and explained what they do to avoid cross-contamination. Can't wait to go back!

Have always felt safe here with gluten, dairy,soy,egg allergies. Best Mexican in charlotte in my opinion! They have always been very accommodating and helpful to me. We go here all the time! I always get different tacos (hard shell corn), rice and different types of beans. Their fresh guacamole is heavenly and their chips are safe.
