I took my boyfriend here after reading the raving reviews on this app. The one thing I’ll agree with is that eating here is an experience… We were seated very quickly and then completely ignored for 20 min. Then the waitress finally greeted us and asked if we wanted anything to drink. After she had explained that we each just pay for our own full meal, she didn’t elaborate on the cost and did not mention that the prices don’t include dessert. She proceeded to bring us a bottle of wine (no wine list) that tastes like it was worth $8 tops, and we later saw we were charged $45. They did accommodate my gluten free needs, but gluten free barilla pasta isn’t exactly what I expected for what some reviews claim is “the best gluten free pasta in the city”. The meal overall is what I would call elevated college dining hall. Two uninspiring small salads, two mediocre pasta dishes, a side of mushroom, a creamy salmon dish, and a small assortment of desserts later (plus the bottom shelf wine) cost us around $160. Though the food and odd vibe don’t make me too sad it’s closing, it was quite and experience and a memory we can keep forever.
