I’ve loved their food for years, but it seems they’re not doing enough to manage cross-contamination. I had a bad systemic reaction the last time I had one of their GF pizzas (tomato/basil/mozzarella).
Their precautions that I know of: pre-made crust on its own pan. Shared kitchen, shared utensils (e.g. for tomato sauce), shared oven.

Server was super helpful and they have a lot of gf options. He said the pizzas are pre-packaged and they prepare them separately. No complaints from me!

Love Patxis! Delicious gluten-free pizza - now offered in two sizes - and they’ll even serve the artichoke dip with gluten-free pizza crust if requested (to substitute the crostinis). They also have Angry Orchard Cider. Love their food, friendly and prompt service and great place for lunch, dinner or to catch a sports game.

Very tasty! GF dough was slightly on the sweet side, but overall was tasty. Great selection of toppings too.
Really tasty pizza. I'm partial to smooth tomato sauces, and theirs is pretty chunky. To most, this is a positive thing.
Gf pizza is a bit buttery but not bad. No gf beer though! Love that they also have vegan options with daiya.
Delicious gluten free pizza with lots of yummy toppings. I have been disappointed with other restaurants that have pre made gluten free pizza's with no option to nix the sauce. Patxi's made my pizza to order and prepared it exactly how I like it. Thank you for the great flexibility with your menu. I will be back :)
I am a fan of their Chicago style pizza and was sad to give it up until I learned they had gluten free and vegan friendly pizzas! The best gf crust ever! Tons of toppings and gooey cheese!
I highly recommend Paxti's if you want an excellent gluten free pizza. It comes in a thin crust, and I love that it's not cracker thin. There sauce is very tasty. I usually get the " Favorite" which has olives, mushroom and pepperoni. They have tons of other toppings too. Also, Paxti's doesn't overcharge for the gluten free crust like most places do. It's a great place to go to, lots of options for everyone: gluten free, vegetarians, vegans, meat eaters, and thick gluteny crusts too.
The gluten free pizza is the best that my wife and I have had at any restaurant. We have tried many, but the crispy crust, delicious sauce and cheese were great!!
BEWARE!!! I ordered a gluten free take out and they sent me home with a normal pizza and I got glutened with one accidental bite and got very sick. Make sure to double triple check that they are being careful. I don’t trust them at this point and can’t even imagine about their cross contamination.

Idk why people don’t talk about this place more, out of all the pizza places in Santa Barbara this one is by far the best. They were very knowledgeable about everything gluten free and put in a lot of effort to make sure I felt safe eating there. They contacted the chef and let the kitchen know about the “allergy” and for anyone wondering it is COMPLETELY separate from all the other gluten. They offer many options for pizza types as well as 2 different sizes of pizza crust which was great. And not to mention the food was amazing gluten and gluten free. All around great restaurant and highly recommend visiting. P.S price point is a little high

It is a really good pizza! I tried the margherita. The only bad thing is it took a while to be brought to our table. I read here there is cross contamination, I did not check that. I actually read it after I had eaten.

The gluten free crust isn’t well marked on the menu, but I knew it was there and I asked (I couldn’t even find it on the menu actually). The pizza was good, tasted like gluten free crust (not amazing but not bad), and the pizza is very customizable which is fun. Good location and many other non-gluten options for my fellow diners. I would go again!
