Pelican’s made me feel entirely safe. The owner has celiac disease and the waitstaff are knowledge and know what substitutes need to be made. They have a gluten free menu with lots of options. I got the sesame-seed encrusted seared tuna with a side of grilled veggies (subbed olive oil for the butter they cook it in). I paired it with a Riesling. The creme brûlée is gluten free.

Very knowledgeable about cross contamination. One of the owners is celiac, they had a gluten free menu, and the staff was very helpful. I didn’t get sick and felt comfortable eating here. Great experience!

This is my restaurant. We have had a gluten free menu listing (separate from our regular menu) to help those who need it. These items include entrees, dressings and seasonings that are gluten free. However, if you are a true celiac, it is important to let a manager know, so that preparations are made to prevent cross contamination. I am a recently diagnosed celiac, so we are just starting to explore additional items that will be gluten free. We do not have a dedicated fryer at this time. I eat here at least once a week with no problems except the time I ate the beer boiled shrimp (duh!!)
