We ate here twice while staying at the Marriott coranado. They have a pretty large gluten sensitive menu and took it seriously. Food was good, and no reactions. We nima tested mahi the first night, but skipped it for the prime rib the second night. It was a quick walk from the hotel.

The only gluten free options during lunch hours are salads, but those are pretty good.
The waitress I had was very knowledgeable about celiac disease. She got me the gluten friendly menu and said that whatever I ordered, she would let the kitchen know that I was celiac so they take extra caution. When I was disappointed that the seafood salad wasn’t on the gluten free menu, she went back and checked with the chefs to see if they could make it gluten free. She told me she checked with 3 of them to make sure. They made it for me without the dressing, which was the only gluten in it, and I had balsamic instead, and it was AMAZING. So good. I’m very sensitive and didn’t get sick at all! It was also a beautiful setting with a great view of the San Diego skyline.

I ate here without issies BUT I stuck with safe options ( King Crab Legs and Creme Brulee). It has a gorgeous patio in the water. They have a great variety of gf options. I was just didn't want to take a risk.
Very helpful and friendly staff. They worked with us to accommodate all our food allergies and vegetarianism. Plus it's a beautiful spot on the water!
