This is one of our favorite places to eat in Lincoln. The menu items aren't exactly kid-friendly but we make it work if we come here with the kids. I love that despite having only a handful of menu options to begin with he always has a gluten-free option. We haven't had an issue with cross-contamination yet. We always feel great after eating here.
Yes
Pepe's (now in Indian Village on 13th and High) is a small, wonderful place. The food and service is amazing and is by far my favorite place to eat in Lincoln. Really, as a Celiac myself, anywhere that you eat out, that is not your OWN kitchen, is at risk for high contamination. Pepe has always taken extra special steps for me to make my food with care.
Pepe's is phenomenal. Some of the best food in town. The sweet potato black bean quesadillas are great, as well as the Vidalia onion enchiladas. The staff is pretty helpful as well.
pepe's is a wonderful place. They have moved to new location further south.
Pepe's is a tiny mexican themed vegetarian/vegan restaurant located at 6220 Havelock in Lincoln Nebraska. (pepesbistro.com for great food photos).Pepe's is small with a small menu that revolves around seasonal local produce. The last comment of "high contamination ...etc " needs to be dis missed. Pepe's is family friendly, and they go the extra length to adjust the menu for special needs diet.
High contamination- not for celiacs! Also decor is not family friendly.
