Was there for a rehearsal dinner. I was told they could make my food gluten free, but couldn’t guarantee no cross contamination. I had the peach and burrata salad to start which was delicious. For an entree, I had the scallops and mash potatoes. The proportions of the dish were off. It was mostly potatoes and a tiny piece of bok choy. I think there are better options in town.

Only thing I could have on the menu was a salad or mussels. They said they couldn't guarantee anything and when I said I couldn't have the balsamic dressing and could I get some olive oil and lemon on the side I was told I should be fine with the balsamic. I was like no I can not it can contain gluten and you can't guarantee me anything. So I had dry salad because apparently olive oil on the side was too much.

I called to make a reservation and was told not to come if I had celiac because NOTHING can be done GF. The menu looked like it had many naturally GF options but with that attitude, no thanks. I told him I saw it on this app and he got upset and said they have no control over it and wish they could get it taken down 😳

Called a head of time to make sure they were able to accommodate my allergy. Staff very knowledgeable about GF options. Food was great.

There are a few restaurants that, though they didn't offer gluten-free menus, they were happy to work with us to come up with a gluten-free meal. In Cape Porpoise, stop by Pier 77 Restaurant for an elegant and refined dinner overlooking the water, complete with relaxing piano playing in the background. Make sure to speak with your server about your allergy, and don't hesitate to ask questions.
