Every time we visit family in Wburg, my husband & I just have to have BBQ, & Pierce’s is our go to. This last time I had their ribs, with gluten free sauce, and ample servings of potato salad & coleslaw. All of it was delicious & filling. I’m celiac but feel safe eating there as long as I avoid their rolls or cornbread.

Loved this BBQ place. Yes there’s probably a chance for cross contamination. But the cashier showed me their gluten free menu and looked at their list of ingredients when I asked about something. I had the brisket “sandwich” (no bun) and potato salad. Thoroughly enjoyed it and I feel good.

Spoke to worker and said that they don’t take precautions for cross contamination. If you are sensitive you shouldn’t order. Just 3 stars since no ability for celiacs to eat here but my family really enjoyed their meal.

My family liked their food

We are here last night but I woke up today very tired and stomach bloated. When I get gluten or cross contamination I sleep as my body is fighting it. I’m going to investigate why as other reviews seemed ok.

I had baked beans and pulled pork without a bun. I tested each with my Nima sensor and both were gluten free. I did not get sick.

Allergen menu and order taker will help you out too. Vinegar based which was new to me, but it was good. Fries are shared in common fryer. Got the beans and they were delicious! After I was done ordering I noticed they had a loaded baked potato as a special.

Great food! I have loved stopping here when passing through. So happy when I called and asked about GF options and the guy knew their options without having to check anything. We had a great meal, my girls loved the pulled pork and baked beans.

Delicious!!! Accommodating! Side note- Although this is a very busy place they actually held off some corn coming out of the kettle which is immediately dipped in butter and wrapped ahead of time. We hit the timing right and because my hubby and son are allergic to dairy and we're also able to have corn that day but not many more of the sides. The 3 GF peeps in our family were fine with the delicious baked beans, green beans and collards. Food was delicious! The BBQ sauce is a little vinegary with a kick but even our 7 year old warmed up to it......

I spoke to a manager about gluten free options and she handed me a gluten free menu and an ingredients list. I ordered pulled-pork, which I ate with their supposed gf sauce. The food was delicious, but this morning my body is telling me it was definitely not gluten free. My daughter, also celiac, is having similar gi problems. Do not eat here if you have celiac disease. You will get sick.
