They have a gluten-free card with many options if you like sea food! Celiac friendly

This was my first time here and I was hesitant because of the ratings. Our waitress Leticia went out of her way to double check everything and make sure there was no cross contamination. There is a gluten free menu although limited. I had the Pinchers claws as an appetizer and the blackened grilled shrimp with garlic mashed potatoes. The shrimp were tiny but there were plenty of them. Everything was good.

They have a GF menu that is 99% seafood. Only non-seafood items are a House salad with choice of protein. No gf Caesar dressing. Baby back ribs are gf, but no BBQ sauce 🤷🏻♀.

There is a gluten free menu with quite a few options. I had the scallop plate with broccoli and mashed potatoes. It was delicious! Broccoli was just steamed so I asked for butter which came out as the herbed garlic butter and it was great. They note on the receipt for the kitchen that you are ordering off the GF menu too. There are no gluten free desserts.

I went for dinner and had the salmon broiled with a salad and nothing else. About an hour after I had symptoms of cross contamination and was unwell the following day.

I cannot recommend this for celiacs or folks with gluten allergies. I have celiac disease and I am allergic to gluten. Despite the assurances from the staff, gluten free menu, etc a few bites into my dish I knew that it wasn’t safe. And sure enough within a few minutes I presented with my classic early gluten exposure reaction of intense nausea and vomiting in the bathroom of the restaurant. Major bummer especially on a family vacation… we had boated there as a family, but I was so miserably ill from the gluten exposure I had to Uber back to our accommodation while my family continued on the boat ride.
Unfortunately, this was a major setback for the remaining days of our vacation as my body spiraled into a full blown celiac flare. The staff were very apologetic, they stated everything was “done right” to prevent this from happening— unfortunately my body’s reaction clearly indicated otherwise.
Based on other FMGF reviews I had high hopes for this restaurant, but celiac be warned. It’s not worth ruining the rest of your vacation to gamble on it.

This place is soooo good! Our waitress was very knowledgeable about their gluten free menu and they had a decent amount of gf options. I ordered the happy hour shrimp special and the blackened mahi mahi with the mashed potatoes and green beans. Delicious! The tartar sauce and cocktail sauce are both gluten free also!

A fun spot on the water with great food and drink specials. Separate GF menu and server noted GF when he put in my order (it shows on the receipt). GF options are a bit limited compared to the whole menu but still plenty to offer.
