My husband was recently diagnosed with celiac disease, and I’m trying to keep life as normal for both of us as we navigate the necessary changes in his diet and our lifestyle. I had read a terrific review of Polenteria in the SF Chronicle, so it came to mind as a place to try. So glad we did! The staff could not have been kinder or more welcoming. And the food—not just good, but lovely, made with obvious care and intention. The entire menu is gluten free, but you would never know if you didn’t already. Even the bread was excellent.
