We came here for cauliflower crust pizza, which I have had several times and love. It was upon ordering that we were told that Pub 235 is no longer serving pizza, both regular and GF. The only other option for me was a GF bun for a sandwich or burger. No GF pasta. Also asked about nachos which are cooked in same frier as gluten containing foods.

The food is delicious here, however I haven’t had the best experiences as someone with celiac disease. On one occasion they assured me the pizza was safe, and when it was brought to my table I double checked to ensure it was gluten free. It tasted too good, so I asked a third time to make sure and the waitress assured me it was. After I had eaten two slices, she came running out saying the kitchen used gluten crust. Another time the same thing happened, but I was able to catch it on the double check before I consumed any. I don’t have faith in them avoiding cross contamination or taking celiac disease seriously.

After waiting an hour forva table I found out there is no dedicated kitchen space, the chicken and fish french listed on their website as gluten free is not gluten free. Only safe option they offered was a salad. No thanks!

Their burgers are great! The pizza is good, but the gf crust is kindof bland. The pizza crust could use some spices or parmesan on the bottom to make it more appealing.

Always have a great experience here. The waitresses are very knowledgeable about celiac and gluten free needs. One note, if ordering any GF pasta, ask for it to be well done. We’ve had a few experiences where the pasta has come out not quite done enough.

Celiac friendly?

Yes

Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu. Lots of options. I had gf Chicken French over gf pasta and it was delicious!! I also tried the Bugsy Malone pizza which was excellent. (I think they left the meatballs off which were probably not gf.) She said the kitchen has a separate preparation area for gf. Will definitely return there often!
