This place ROCKS for celiacs. Loud and usually packed but in a good way and they have outdoor seating for a more chill experience. Bartender John is awesome. Fried seafood and crab cakes that are safe. My girlfriend and I have eaten there probably 20 times. They know what they are doing. New England clam chowder, come on. Always changing selection of very fresh oysters. Many choices for glutards and plenty for those who are not. I have a hard time imagining anyone not enjoying this place. PS: for some reason they changed the clam chowder recipe so it now contains Gluten. It was great before I’m bummed

Cute, small restaurant. We were seated on the (heated) patio. Reservations strongly recommended. GF items are marked on the menu and there are a lot of options, including some rare items like crab cakes and fried calamari. Dedicated GF fryer in use. The Calamari was some of the best I’ve ever had and comes with some pickled vegetables and a tamari drizzle. Sister got the crab cakes and the bite I managed to steal was delicious. I got mussels with fries and aioli. The broth was so good I wanted to drink it. Once we identified ourselves as GF the waitress pointed out her favorite GF options and said she’d skip bringing out the bread. We had a great meal and neither my sister nor I (both celiacs) had any reaction.

Amazing fried oysters, fried calamari, oysters Rockefeller, and more. Everything but their sandwich bread and one of their deserts are gluten free, and we loved having options that typically aren’t available. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. Reservations are a must! We enjoyed raw oysters and giant shrimp cocktail, fried calamari with a slightly sweet tamari sauce, Oysters Rockefeller, and a large bowl of mussels. It was all excellent and safe! Will definitely go back to try more of their GF offerings that were clearly marked on the menu. Make reservations! This place was busy up until closing time.

AMAZING! Can have anything on the menu except the sandwiches. We had oysters Rockefeller, fried oysters, and fried shrimp. So good! Great wait staff that answered all questions confidently

Almost the entire menu is gluten free! And the food is very good. I had the calamari which is fried and serve with a sweet tamari sauce. Everything fried is gluten free so you can eat fries with the mussels. Very good and our waiter was knowledgeable about celiac disease and made sure to reassure me that everything that came to our table was safe for me to eat.
