Oh my goodness. There are only 8 things on the menu which CAN’T be made gluten free! I had a fried chicken sandwich with fries!!! Food was amazing and our server was very knowledgeable! Extra bonus—they don’t charge extra for gluten free! I’m only sad we live an hour away. We’ll definitely be back!!!

I recently dined at the Public House Restaraunt and it was absolutely delicious. I ordered the gluten free blt with a side of fries. The sandwich was so good, the bread used in the sandwich was among the best I've ever tasted, and the fries were equally as good. They had several gluten free sauces to choose from. I highly recommend getting one of their in house rootbeers too. They have about 7 options in their menu that isnt gluten free so many different options. My waitress Lacey was very sweet and knowledgeable. She was quick with service . The owner stopped by my table before I left and he is very people friendly. I will definitely be back.

Great experience yesterday. Had the fried walleye. It was delish. Manager and waiter knew a lot about cc and celiac and assured me they take all the precautions. They have a dedicated fryer and most things on the menu can be made gluten free. We drove an hour to get to them and we'll go back!

My first visit I spoke to the owner. He was super nice and explained that majority of the menu is GF. I had a steak and fry plus a Glutenberg Beer! I went today and had a burger and fry. They have a dedicated fryer, which makes me a happy girl! They are wonderful, knowledgeable and it’s a great atmosphere.

Have come before with no issues, most recently I did get fries from the wrong frier. Didn’t realize until I found an onion ring in the basket (knew they do not have gf onion rings). My waitress did go back to check and they do still have a dedicated frier I just got served from the wrong one. Very kind staff that were apologetic and did remove my meal from the bill.

Wow! Nearly the whole menu is gluten free (not marked…have to have the server tell you what is not gf - there were only about 4 things). They have a separate fryer for gluten free foods. Waitress was very knowledgeable about celiac safe gluten free needs. We had gluten free Mac and cheese, mango bruschetta, chicken and waffles, and fried walleye and chips. Yummy food. Best chicken tenders we’ve ever had!

This place is phenomenal when it comes to gluten free. Everything on the menu can be ordered gluten free and it’s homemade. Best place I have been since being diagnosed with celiac over a year ago. I would give it 10 stars if I could. The gluten-free is absolutely delicious!! I've had several different entrees and each meal was extremely flavorful without as negative reactions. As an individual who has Celiac it is an amazing feeling to know that I can eat delicious food with flavor and it's Celiac safe...I am a HAPPY camper eating here. And...the chocolate cake is just heaven...so good!! 😍

This restaurant is over a half hour away, but was absolutely worth the drive! We were there for brunch and their GF waffle was so good we thought they were “real”! I fear that for all too many restaurants, GF is an after-thought, but at the Public House they are very intentional, following safe processes AND offering an abundance of incredible GF food options! I’d highly recommend a visit!

I am so thankful to be able to go to a restaurant and order delicious food like a normal person! Just about everything (besides a few desserts and fried pickles) can be made gluten free. Everything is very carefully prepared in order to avoid cross containation and I have never gotten sick.

I can not say enough great things about this restaurant- from the food selections, to management to the overall ambiance of the restaurant- a must try for fellow celiacs!

The owner is extremely involved and accommodating and is able to answer any questions that you may have. 80% of the menu is gluten free or can be made gluten free- Plentiful options! Even several of the daily specials they purposely make gluten free or vegan.

I have both a gluten and dairy allergy and was able to eat comfortably. They even use Rumi's Passion's bread (Plymouth, MI)! (Best GF bread). Owner says he picks up extra for customers so that they don't have to drive all the way to Plymouth to get themselves.

Fries are fried in a dedicated fryer! I went yesterday and will be returning today with a larger group!

It's impossible to find great gluten free spots to eat outside of Oakland county so I am absolutely ecstatic that I found this hidden gem!

We are from Ohio and found this wonderful gem by using the reviews on this site as a guide. Our waitress was fantastic, and the food was wonderful. I haven't eaten out in a very long time, and we will be back whenever we come through MI (6-8 times/year). I highly recommend for both Celiac folks and others!

Best gluten free buns around. So many options! Dedicated fryer. The loaded chips appetizer is awesome and gluten free! They will also do their French onion soup with gluten free bread upon request. And their gf tres leche is by far my most favorite dessert ever. Ask for Stephanie.. She's super sweet and will take great care of you!

This was our first visit to The Public House. We were greeted by the owner Fred, and served by a wonderful waitress Stephanie; who went over the top to tell us about the restaurant and safe gf options. So many gf options! We thoroughly enjoyed our sandwiches and fries (both reg and sweet potato). Stephanie told us about the restaurant's history and the fact that everything in it is from Michigan! She went all out to surprise us with a GF molten lava cake and scoop of vanilla ice cream! <3 If you live near Monroe or are travelling through, this hidden gem will not disappoint! Was traveling out of town and found this on here food was delicious all able to be made gluten free and tasted amazing well worth the trip to visit. They always have at least one gluten free desert on the menu and a dedicated fryer. Owner super nice came and talked to me even gave me a gluten free bun to try and see what I thought.
