Red Elephant Pizza and Grill

Ordered three pizzas, one gluten free. The non-GF people liked their pizza. The GF pizza had very leathery crust that was essentially inedible and the peppers on it were mostly raw. There probably are better places for GF pizza in Tallahassee.

Delicious pizza! Ordered medium cheese gluten free - only $2 upcharge. It seems like you can request any pizza and any size gluten free. Very good crust, cheesy, will probably order light sauce next time.

Great for GF pizza! Had a lot of items on the menu that were marked and could be made gluten free. Waitress was very knowledgeable about how the food was prepared in kitchen. Separate area to prepare the pizza if specified it's a gluten allergy, gluten free buns for burgers, unfortunately the fries are a no go for me since they're in a shared fryer. I got the meat lovers on a GF crust and it tasted great!

I am dairy and gluten free, so you may be wondering why I would be reviewing pizza, however you can order gluten free pizza crust with any style pizza without cheese, it's almost like a flatbread type thing. I quite enjoy it. In my opinion, red elephants GF pizza crust is very good. It's thin and crunchy on the edges, and thin with a medium thickness in the middle.

Celiac friendly?

No

After being in the area for 3-days and having trouble finding GF restaurants, I was happy to eat their GF chicken with veggies and their GF pizza, all in one setting. It was good, but not great. Glad to find a place that served GF food.

Hummus with gf cooked dough was delicious. Gluten free pizza was ok but nothing special at all.

Individual sized GF pizza available. Chicken is not an available meat topping unlike previous review but pepperoni or ham are. Found the crust to have a nice crispness and toppings fresh. Also have Woodchuck cider. Limited GF menu but one is readily available. Server asked if GF for celiac disease and explained they ask because if "yes" they take extra precautions (to avoid cross-contamination). Good place for good pizza!
