Waitress didn't understand gluten free. She served my husband soup with dumplings. Expensive for food served.

The first time I went there, I thought I would be giving this place 5 stars. But when I called there another time to order take out, I got completely different answers than when I ate there before. Their seafood hot pot which I got the first time, I was told later it's not gf because it has imitation krab meat in it when the waitress told me it was real. I was also told the first time their ginger dressing is gf and that it wasn't when I called later. They have some items marked gf on the dinner menu that are not marked gf on the lunch menu. Basically, I get different answers each time I've questioned them. Some of the staff have no idea what gluten is and the chef wasn't very helpful either. If you are going to mark gf on your menu, you better be 100% sure you know what you are talking about. Just be careful!

Terrible, terrible, terrible.. There are about 5 things marked GF on the lunch menu. My server seemed aggravated and not knowledgeable. Asked if the salad dressing was GF, and he said he didn't know and didn't make any effort to find out. I got a vegetable roll, since I was unsure about cc in their kitchen. The waiter brought me over soy sauce (not GF) and dipping cup.. Left hungry and disappointed

We went to red Ginger for lunch this past Sunday. There are several dishes that are gluten-free. My wife tried the prawn dish and it was very tasty. There is also some fried rice. We will be going back and trying other things!

Absolutely would not recommend. Called them to make sure they had gf soy sauce. The gentleman on the phone said yes. Had family coming into town the next day so planned to order. Called and they said they didnt have much gf, but had gf soy sauce. Order $100 worth of food for everyone. I ordered fried rice with chicken with gf soy sauce. When I picked it up I was talking to the girl up front. I asked if she had any other suggestions in what to order gf. She started telling me they usually have gf soy sauce, but haven't had it in a while and they need to get some. "Red flag" I said I ordered mine with gf soy sauce, which 2 different people said they had. She ck my food and knew right away is was made with the regular soy sauce. She had it remade with no sauce. When I asked since your remaking it can I get rice noodles instead since its something I can have. She said no it takes to long. What a waste of the extra 20 minute drive. Won't ever go there again.
