I go here regularly with no issue. All GF meals are marked by being on a red plate as claimed in the restaurant self-written description above (not a labeled toothpick but an obvious indicator to all staff). I always ask just in case and am always told red plate=gf and the staff is always well trained on handling gf/celiac customers. They have separate fryers for allergens including a gluten free fryer. They say all menu items can be made gluten free and I have never encountered anything they wouldn't do gf. This is my go-to 'I worked too long today and all I want is chicken tenders and french fries now' place.

I am also allergic to dairy so one time I asked for a dairy free sauce chef's choice to go with some fried pickles instead of the usual ranch and they absolutely delivered.

Also you can clearly mark online orders for gluten allergy with a whole section of the online menu being set up as 'gluten free menu item name' and you can further mark all your allergens from the selection box and write a note for each item. The takeout boxes will have allergy stickers on the individual items.

Compared to 110 grill, very disappointing. Food not flagged gluten free, food not brought out by manager, table sticky when we sat down. 110 grill is 1000x better!

Our server was amazing and advocated for my girls who are celiac…..however compared to 110 grill we didn’t feel 100% safe. No allergy flagged, food not brought out my manager. I ordered a to go meal for my daughter at home and the portion or fruit was laughable…..literally 2 small pieces of pineapple. My salmon was dry. We will not be going back. 110 will continue to be out restaurant of choice.

The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about celiac disease (and other allergies) so I always feel very comfortable eating here. Virtually everything on the menu can be made gluten free and is delicious. I was happily surprised when I learned I could order GF pretzels and that their croutons are GF.

This restaurant has the best food pre pandemic. I finally went back and was so disappointed specifically in their fried chicken. I didn’t try their other dishes but I could not believe how terrible it tasted. Gluten free wise I felt they were as safe as I remember but with today’s gluten free products there is no reason to serve such horrific food.

Nearly everything on the menu is gf. The burger bun is not so big you can’t get it in your mouth, and it’s tender, not tough. Great burger. Fries have salt and pepper and possibly some cheese. Very tasty. Everything we have had here, over a period of a few years, has been good. Service is good. What’s not to like?

Horrible experience here. Great options listed, but not only did my food arrive on a dirty plate (old ketchup), it was cold, AND my child with celiac was glutened by their grilled cheese. They tried to rectify it with comping our dinner, but the damage was done. Will not be going back.

I’m not sure how I first heard of Red Heat. What I did hear was that the owner has a niece that has Celiac and he wanted her to have a safe place where she could eat everything on the menu. I’m not sure if this is the accurate story but I decided to try it and I was pleasantly surprised that everything on the menu can be prepared gluten free! I have eaten there many times and have never been sick! I have had the fish and chips and it is delicious. I’ve had the burgers and again, great. One of my favorite things is the Asian salad with crispy chicken! I order that quite frequently. I have recommended Red Heat to several folks and they loved it and keep coming back! They drive up from Waltham to eat there and are quite pleased that Kimbles is right down the road so they usually pick up ice cream for the ride home!!

I usually visit the location in Westborough but was in the area! I love that anything on the menu can be made gluten free and how knowledgable the staff is about food allergies. Food is served on a red plate to notify of an allergy and is usually brought to the table by a manager. If you have a sweet tooth, make sure to try to desserts! They are delicious.

I will simply agree with the other reviews here. Love and trust Burtons, but this menu is a bit more casual (maybe even more fun) and prices very reasonable. Great, safe place!

Best GF restaurant in eastern MA - wish their was a location closer to Norwood. Almost everything on their menu is GF and delicious. The macaroni and cheese with pulled pork is ridiculously good. Dedicated fryolator so all fried food is GF. My only complaint is the beer. Used to have Glutenberg (best GF beer available) and now have a beer called Celia - not as good. I've been there about 20 times and never got sick.

Love this place! It's owned by the same parent company as Burton's grill and one of their executives has Celiac. So, I felt comfortable going in and ordering (I have Celiac). We had the giant Tater Tots both times and they are fried in a dedicated fryalator. I have tried the steak tips and burgers too- all so good. The manager brings out the GF food on a different colored plate and the servers were really attentive. My husband, who doesn't have any food intolerances, raves about it too! I live about 30-40 mins away and it's with the drive every time.

I love this place. Great food. Great Atmosphere. You know it's gluten free because the food is on a different colored plate (red atm). The Thai chicken wings, fried pickles, and pretty much everything else is top notch bar fair.

Everything on the menu can be made gluten free! The GF fried pickles were awesome. The pickles were sweet and crispy with a little bite. I had the GF veggie mac and cheese which was good but a little rich. I also had the GF cheesecake. The pickles were my favorite. I gave the High rating because of how understanding about Celiac Disease they are and the strict attention they gave to taking care of me.

Best GF bun I've ever had! I also got to enjoy gluten free fried calamari. On the menu it says "all items can be made gluten free" I don't think I've ever been so happy with a restaurant! I heard through the grapevine (and this app lol) that the owner is either gluten sensitive or has celiac disease. I have celiac disease and didn't feel awful like I typically do if there's any cross contamination.

This place is off the charts! Owner has celiac and staff is extremely well trained and knowledgeable. Any item with the exception of corn bread can be made gluten free. This is the same owner as the Burtons chain. Got the rib and tip combo and it was amazing!

Everything on the menu can be made gluten free (besides the cornbread). I asked about the cooking procedure and they use corn flour to eliminate the chance of cross contamination. Food was delicious as well!

Red Heat is owned by the same group that brought us Burton's. One of the owners has celiac so they do it right. All items either are or can be made GF except the corn bread. They don't even have flour on the premises to alleviate cross contamination concerns. We have already eaten there many times and have thoroughly enjoyed it with no concerns

Good poisoning for me and all of my party. It feels like it was also gluten. The celiacs in our party were sick much longer than everyone else and one of us got the celiac rash afterwards. I would never eat here again.

We sat at the bar because it was so busy. The bartender was very knowledgeable about GF needs and anticipated a lot of my questions once she knew I have a gluten allergy. Their fryers are all dedicated GF and only a few items on their menu cannot be done GF (the pretzel and tacos, I was told). Overall a good meal and I was able to have some of the fried apps that I don’t often get to eat, with no issues after.
