Great food and environment! There are so many gluten free options. The drinks weren’t good though

The gluten free menu was clearly labeled, the staff was very knowledgeable, and I was completely symptom free after eating there. This place was safe for people with celiac disease and it was delicious.
Marjorie was especially helpful and answered all my questions. In many cases she was so knowledgeable that she anticipated my questions like "the tortilla chips are fried in a gluten free vat."

Thrilled with this restaurant! Had a reservation, so no wait. Speedy, attentive and friendly service. GF aware. Menu marked with many GF options. Had an creamy chicken enchilada plate (least spicy option), rice, beans, guac and chips with a margarita. Guac appetizer was a HUGE amount for two people. No gluten issues for me. Would definitely return if we are in SLC again. (NCGF)

Best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I’m from New York and had heard of how good this place was. Was extremely pleased to know the menu is marked with gluten free items. They have a good amount of options for GF people and they’re pretty safe when it comes to taking precautions. This was on a busy Friday night.

I called ahead and asked if they would accommodate someone with Celiac and they assured me they would. I already knew they have clearly marked GF options on the menu and that their chips and salsa are gluten free so today my girlfriend and I went there to eat. After waiting 45 mins for a table we were told they were too busy to change their gloves between handling gluten and non-gluten items so we left.

Lots of options, waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu!
Clearly marked menu for easy navigation. Seafood fajitas were delicious and safe.
We had guacamole and fajita’s. They where delicious. Many items on the menu are marked gluten free, order them with corn tortilla’s. It can be busy so we had to wait for 45min.

I do not recommend this location. The other location on South Temple and 900 W has a much friendlier and much more knowledgeable staff. I have had cross-contamination at this location and I have been served a sauce containing flour from a waitress who didn’t know what gluten is (she that it was lactose). I have never had a problem at the other location.

I wait all year for my annual trip to Salt Lake City so I can eat at the Red Iguana 2. The wait staff is courteous and efficient. They are knowledgeable about the gluten-free items on their menu. Everything I have a tried is delicious. This year, even more of their more moles are gluten free. This time I have the mango mole. Yummy! I have never gotten sick at this restaurant.

Had no clue what Celiac is. Yes, the menu is marked with “gf” choices, but the risk of cross-contamination is ridiculous and way too scary. I could not eat here. Disappointed since other reviews were good. But after talking to the host and server, it was clear they had no education about celiac disease.

The food was amazing!! The gf items are clearly marked on the menu, but be sure to mention go your server that you have celiac. The chips and salsa are gf and I recommend the Tacos a la Iguana.
OMG. This place rocks. Been to Dalt Lake Vity twice and I've eaten here 3 times. Stupid good. Stick to the moles as these are guaranteed to be gf.. .and are wicked tasty to boot. Staff is super helpful and gf menu is clearly labeled.

Was thoroughly pleased with the food, staff, and the well labeled menu for gluten-free options.
Awesome GF options!! Everything we had was delicious! Highly recommend!

My favorite Mexican restaurant in the valley!!! They mark everything gluten-free and will happily make enchiladas vegetarian if you ask. The chips, salsa, and guacamole are incredible.

Great chips, salsa, and guacamole. GF clearly marked on menu. All meals were excellent -gf and non gf. Huge portions and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

GF items marked on menu. Excellent mole sauce (careful some versions are not GF). Try the sampler which is not on the menu but they were happy to do just a small spoonful of each GF mole. Then choose your favorite. Celiacs will have to judge for themselves but for those a bit less worried about cross contamination they seemed very aware and accommodating.
