I have been to many Red Robins and have never had an issue with order specifications until today… I ordered a burger that needed fried jalapeños omitted and I also surprisingly had to confirm that I needed fries in a separate fryer, after I added that I needed GF for allergy (I’m used to being asked “preference or allergy” so the omission of that question made me suspicious of the server’s knowledge).
When I got the burger, the bun appeared to be the GF one they use, but on the burger were the breaded and fried jalepeno coins. Fortunately they left the burger on the table while they made a new one. (Otherwise I would have been nervous they just removed the jalapeños.) I had them bring me new fries also. Hopefully I won’t feel sick later :(
Oh, and when our bill arrived, my burger was on their twice because of the remake. Fortunately we were paying attention and pointed it out to our server, and after some waiting she finally fixed it.
