I got extremely ill after eating here. The food was awful as well!!
I could tell the staff were educated about food allergies/sensitivities. They directed me to their website to find safe foods. The app is very easy to use. My plate was clearly marked as GF coming out of the kitchen which is assuring in a very busy restaurant. I'm somewhat a "foodie" so I don't eat in chain establishments often, but I thought the food was good.

My son has celiac, but had no problems with their GF burger. Their fries are GF, and they have GF buns! My gluten eating daughters enjoyed their food as well. The servers were helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.
Red robin is our go to gfree favorite. My son gets a kids burger on a gfree bun and loves it!
The grilled chicken on a gluten free bun was good. But we ordered it with a side salad, and they brought the salad with croutons on it!
Waited for too long for a table when we counted about ten empty ones while everyone just stood there. Service was so slow. There was an absolutely horrible smell coming from the bar area ( maybe garbage, not sure but bad enough to put me off my food). Strawberry lemonade tasted like mildew. The food was fine everything else was awful.
They offered a binder with allergen listings and recommendations for gluten free options. We had burgers on GF buns and fries. Really tasty burger and fries were good. Complaint/concern: They offered to refill fries and the refill fries that they brought smelled like onion rings. so we became concerned and brought it to the attention of the server. She double checked with the kitchen and confirmed that they were prepared in the dedicated allergen fryer, however, we weren't convinced & not willing to take the risk. Will reiterate severity of sensitivity to server next time, but definitely plan to return. No reactions!
FOOD: was great, no complaints at all. SERVICE: was very friendly but super slow. Not sure (very possible) if they were understaffed being it was New Years day or if that's normal. Place was full but not packed, we waited almost an hour for our food. LOCATION: great, easy to find, super clean. ONLY NEGATIVE: We ended up here because we found them on a gluten free website. We were pleased to see they had a gluten free menu and food for our family member. What we were surprised by was the outdated black binder they offered us as the gf menu. It was a simple black binder with sheet protectors, no pictures, prices and inaccurate information. Our family member is 17 and he just rolled with it but accurate information and some nice pictures would be nice in case the patron is younger. Thank you Red Robbin for the delicious gluten free food, but please clean up your gluten free menu. WOULD WE RETURN: yes!

A favorite! Love their GF burgers, which can be ordered with GF bun and fries. Meticulous about keeping the food GF. Go there once a week with never a mishap. Strongly recommend!
Manager came to the table with Gluten Free menu and took my order and made it himself . Service was super fast hamburger and fries were delicious . Wonderful experience. Would definitely go back!!!!
Awesome! :-) my son was so excited..he got a gluten free kids meal burger and fries..they have a manager with celiac, so they are super careful. The fries were amazing and he actually liked the bun...it wasn't hard like most gf buns.
Our waitress, Jodi, had Celiac and knew exactly what we could have. They have a gf bun that was great and we could even have the fries. Awesome meal!

ill never go back. we got cheese fries from the gluten free menu and there was elbow noidles in our appetizer of fries. that is so deadly and dangerous, they obviously do not care about cross contamination. never comming back here. waste of time and money!!
Please be warned! When we are here 2 weeks ago, the gf fries had macaroni in them, and my daughter's plate had food on it from three other plates in our group. The waitress had no clue about Celiac and neither did anyone else. There were no extra precautions taken for us.
Their menu is actually digital and interactive, allowing you to designate multiple dietary restrictions, and it includes all the dipping sauces! Designated GF fryer. Also, they keep changing the recipe on their fry seasoning, so sometimes it's safe and sometimes you have to skip it.
I wanted to try this because they do gf, but no gf menu. You have to go on website and find it and select your allergens. To. As they don't use words. They give you a bunch of single Greek letters. Good luck finding your allergens in Greek. Waitress never came back. We walked out.
Many gluten free options. They have a dedicated fryer. When waitress didn't know the answer to my gf question she went n asked the manager. I had the bruschetta chicken burger. Delicious. And a side salad. I definitely will check out Red Robin where I live.
This place is amazing! I don't know why the other reviews are so harsh but not only do they have a terrific gf bun, they have a lettuce wrap option for their burgers and it's so good, I always tell them I have celiac and they are always so helpful about my fries being in a special fryer. Red Robin will always be my go to!
If you tell them you have an allergy, they bring you a dedicated menu on an iPad that shows what you can have and what substitutions need to be made. Dedicated fryers for fries and corn tortilla chips. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. So nice to eat out and not stress about feeling like you're being an inconvenience to the staff, or worry about getting sick!
After being assured the manager was in the kitchen and would ensure there was no cross-contamination, got my fries and they were definitely lightly seasoned. So I got a new bunch. Well immediately after finishing my meal, started getting all the signs of being glutened. Very disappointed.
When I said my daughter was celiac, they asked if I wanted all of the orders to be gluten free due to little fingers (like my 1 yo son) that can get crumbs everywhere. I thought that was really rare knowledge to hear in a chain restaurant. My daughter didn't get sick and the whole family had gluten free (served with a purple toothpick stuck in the order to let everyone know). Also said they had a dedicated frier & daughter didn't get sick, so hope we can eat there again!
Surprised to see other reviews, as I had a phenomenal experience here! Server was incredibly attentive & made every effort to make me feel safe. Burger was great, including the gf bun. Fries were in dedicated fryer, and I was able to choose from a number of gf dipping sauces. When I asked about the milkshakes, the bartender sanitized a new blender for me to avoid any cross-contamination. Will definitely return! This was a great meal for this Celiac!
I'm giving one star for having a GF menu (although it is only available online and it took forever for the server to locate the tablet given to customers to access it) and one star because I didn't get sick from the food. That, however, were the only positives to my experience there. The service is terrible, the servers know nothing about GF and the food is mediocre at best.
The burgers are good, but the fries are questionable. The first two times I ate here, the server confirmed that the fries are GF because they're fried in a separate fryer. The last time I was there, the server said they're only GF if you ask for "no salt fries" because she said the seasoning they put on them after they're fried isn't GF. I'm not sure which server actually knew what they were talking about, but it's hard to trust a place that's inconsistent.
Aside from Salem Red robin is our go to! We have had mistakes but the mgr is always accommodating. Aside from mistakes we have continued to have great experiences at this Resturant!
Their gluten free menu is online-- NOT the app, the website-- so it's worth it to do some research before you get there. You do have to explain carefully and/or talk with a manager about your needs, but once you do that, they pay careful attention. Dedicated fryers mean fries are safe, and the last time I checked their seasoning salt was safe too. (Always good to check online. Again, the servers probably won't know.) so are many of their sauces. Plenty enough options for the burger-lover. I always have a good time (once I get over that initial hump), and I haven't gotten sick yet.
Have eaten at several Red Robins, most regularly at the Palisades Mall location. WARNING !!!!!! Ate there on Sat 24th September and got horribly gluten poisoned. Still very sick two days later. Have filed a formal complaint and dealing with their Risk Management Department. Eat there at your own risk if you have Celiac Disease.
They have a allergy free menu. They give you an iPad with the menu options like gluten it tells which items are gluten free or dairy free. It's amazing
Excellent experience. Everyone was great about making sure we were not cross contaminated. We used to go to the RR location across town because it's closer but they have messed up on our fries twice now so coming to this RR is well work driving further.
Most Red Robin locations do great! But today was the 2nd time that we had a major scare over being given the wrong fries at this location. The first time was sort of the waitress' fault because she put in to use a GF bun but not GF fries & therefore I was given regular fries. Today 3 of us were GF & everyone except one got GF fries then the manager tried to lie & say they were even though we clearly saw that that order was the only one with seasoning like regular fries. We are DONE with this location & will be going to the Northlake location instead.
We ate here for dinner last night. Great food and great service. The server handed us an IPad to ensure everything was still gluten free that we order. This helped tremendously since the allergen customizer on the website hasn't worked well since they updated the website. We all had the bacon cheeseburger with gluten free buns and the fries without seasoning and ranch to dip them. Our only problem was the girl that brought out the food almost gave our food to the table across from us. Thankfully she didn't hand it or allow anyone to touch it since that group had just been seated and hadn't even ordered so they immediately told her it wasn't their order. Our daughter felt fine after and had no issues. Will be back to this location.

Gluten fiendly. Be sue to tell your server. And yes....they have a dedicated gluten free fryer so we too can enjoy bottomless fries or sweet potato fries. Lettuce wedge wrapped burgers thoughtfully come in an aluminum foil wrap for mess freeeating. Server was knowledgeable. Good service too!
They would get 5 stars except that their beef is not good enough to get top marks. Ordering it "well done" helps. The GF buns are absolutely great. Red Robin's will even sell their buns separately. Bottomless frech fries are marvelous, just marvelous. They will even cook you a batch without salt (in case you are watching your sodium intake). Heinz mustard available on request. The sweet potato fries are not GF.
I have eaten here a lot and never had a problem, one strange thing that happened though was that the manager told me the chips were not gluten free. I then asked if they were put in the same fryer as the breaded items and she told me that they were cooked in the special allergen fryer. Then I asked her if I could see the ingredients. When I read the ingredients , the chips contained no gluten at all. So basically they only tell you what they know for certain to be safe, but I had the nachos without the chili and had no problems.
With other customers saying that the bun was good, I think I may have gotten an old one. The texture was awful, and it was hard as a rock. I couldn't eat it. It was then hard to enjoy the meal because all I could think about was spending $12 for a hamburger patty because I had to remove the bun. We also had to get new fries because ours were ice cold. Won't be back.
