Waited for too long for a table when we counted about ten empty ones while everyone just stood there. Service was so slow. There was an absolutely horrible smell coming from the bar area ( maybe garbage, not sure but bad enough to put me off my food). Strawberry lemonade tasted like mildew. The food was fine everything else was awful.
They offered a binder with allergen listings and recommendations for gluten free options. We had burgers on GF buns and fries. Really tasty burger and fries were good. Complaint/concern: They offered to refill fries and the refill fries that they brought smelled like onion rings. so we became concerned and brought it to the attention of the server. She double checked with the kitchen and confirmed that they were prepared in the dedicated allergen fryer, however, we weren't convinced & not willing to take the risk. Will reiterate severity of sensitivity to server next time, but definitely plan to return. No reactions!
FOOD: was great, no complaints at all. SERVICE: was very friendly but super slow. Not sure (very possible) if they were understaffed being it was New Years day or if that's normal. Place was full but not packed, we waited almost an hour for our food. LOCATION: great, easy to find, super clean. ONLY NEGATIVE: We ended up here because we found them on a gluten free website. We were pleased to see they had a gluten free menu and food for our family member. What we were surprised by was the outdated black binder they offered us as the gf menu. It was a simple black binder with sheet protectors, no pictures, prices and inaccurate information. Our family member is 17 and he just rolled with it but accurate information and some nice pictures would be nice in case the patron is younger. Thank you Red Robbin for the delicious gluten free food, but please clean up your gluten free menu. WOULD WE RETURN: yes!

A favorite! Love their GF burgers, which can be ordered with GF bun and fries. Meticulous about keeping the food GF. Go there once a week with never a mishap. Strongly recommend!
Manager came to the table with Gluten Free menu and took my order and made it himself . Service was super fast hamburger and fries were delicious . Wonderful experience. Would definitely go back!!!!
Awesome! :-) my son was so excited..he got a gluten free kids meal burger and fries..they have a manager with celiac, so they are super careful. The fries were amazing and he actually liked the bun...it wasn't hard like most gf buns.
Our waitress, Jodi, had Celiac and knew exactly what we could have. They have a gf bun that was great and we could even have the fries. Awesome meal!

There is no specific menu, it's all online, then you fill I'm what you need to avoid and it gives you the options. There's gf options, bread, different fry fryer. Thought it was good, had a chicken bruschetta sandwich and fries. Unfortunately my stomach starting turning and I got sick about 20 minutes after eating 😑
Waitress who helped us is gluten free!!! Was a great experience. Food took longer to prepare, but the three of us gf eaters did not get sick, and really enjoyed our custom meals. Plenty of good food and RR is always kind to help us with our gf and vegetarian needs (their veggie burger is NOT gluten free, so do not order). RR is one of the few fast food sit down places we count on for gf food, and this location did not let us down.
Best place for burgers and fries! We eat here often and have a regular server who helps the kitchen staff understand our needs (daughter wanted grilled cheese on her GF bun so server explained using a skillet to grill the sandwich). Highly recommend!
Wonderful experience! The bun tasted great and they have a separate frier for the fries. I was able to order and enjoy a burger and fries like everyone else at my table. When the rest of my family (not GF) ordered an app, our waitress automatically pointed out that it was not GF, which we already knew but was great for her to advise anyway. Then when she brought it out she brought some fresh fries for me to have something before our meal arrived. Very thoughtful.
I was very impressed with not only the GF food but the service as well. Our waiter made sure that the food I ordered was special for all my allergies and checked once the food was delivered to make sure it was as specified. There was not any problems with accommodating what I needed. Very impressed and will return!
I love their cheeseburgers! I think they have the best!! Personally, I like to get them lettuce wrapped to go and put them on an Udi's whole grain bun at home. I have been going back and forth between Red Robin and 5Guys. I prefer their cheeseburgers to 5Guys. However, 5Guys has better fries! I tried their bun there when it was first announced and have not had one since. I was not impressed at the time.
The best GF restaurant in the area. They offer fantastic GF buns for any combination of different burgers and sandwiches. They have an online, interactive allergy menu where you can create your mall, then order it at your table. Dedicated fryer, just make sure you stress you want GF fries when you order. They're usually very busy, but extremely accommodating. It's a must try!
They don't have a menu dedicated to a gluten free diet. They have a few select items they will take anything that tastes good off of(even salsa) to prepare you a very bland meal. They did a good job of making sure I didn't have a reaction, but the food tasted like nothing.
Liked the fact that you can customize their menu. It was nice that the kitchen manager came out with an iPad and was able to answer any questions. My waitress was knowledgeable with knowing how the mushroom burger needed prepared so that I could have it. Nice experience
Went to Red Robin many times, and they used to be great! Now they refuse to have a printed gluten free menu. They said they would give us an ipad, but internet doesn't always work. You can use your phone, but first you must take the time to download their app. Then you have to hope you still get reception as you look through the menu on the app. It's quite the process that takes a long time.
be careful one manager told us that celiac disease is just intolerance and isn't a big deal after giving us a gluten bub instead of the gluten free we ordered. we were also told the kitchen no longer differentiates orders they all go on the same plates between the managers statements and the lack of cleanliness in the dining room. I would warn folks to avoid at least this store if not the whole chain if you are sensitive to gluten, as they have recently changed policy.

Bacon cheeseburger with bbq sauce instead of mayo on a gluten free bun. They were very conscientious about the gluten free thing. If you order a gf bun, they automatically mark your order and give you fries without the seasoned salt that contains gluten. It was tasty!
We had the best gluten free hamburgers. The staff was knowledgeable about gluten free. The bun was excellent! ! You can buy them for 99 cents a piece to take home. We bought 5, they were SO good! We were confident that we were not going to get sick. It was nice to feel normal and not have to explain about gluten free. We got a royalty card because we Will be going back often. It made our day.
Outstanding!!! The gf buns are soft and tasty! The have a dedicated fryer so fries are ON the menu Yummm! Our server was so helpful and knowledgable, the GM even came out to discuss why the shakes are not on the gf menu and they made a Choc shake for me in a cleaned blender (not usual equip) I am one happy celiac girl!
I am REALLY sensitive to gluten and even a crumb of contamination will cause all kinds of problems for me, so I have to be very careful eating out (I usually just don't bother). But this Red Robin not only has gluten free buns, but they even have a separate gluten free fryer to cook fries in! They use separate surfaces for gluten allergy customers, and have a very in depth gluten free menu. I love this place, and have not had any issues!
I was diagnosed with celiac 9 months ago. This is one of the few restaurants I feel safe eating at. They have a dedicated fryer so I can have French fries!! I have not gotten sick here and I have eaten here several times. They have a great allergy menu online so your phone serves as your GF menu. I've had burgers, salad and a hot fudge sundae. Hamburger buns are decent.
I've been twice and both times got grilled turkey burger with gf bun and sweet potato fries (also dairy free). The binder with allergy menus broken down by allergy is nice. Second time they brought us regular buns and I had to let them know- good thing I had been before and knew what the gf buns looked like! Not thrilled with that, but the burgers were yummy both times and make me feel "normal" eating out, so I would come back. Just hopefully they'll get the order right.
Came for my sons b'day. We expressed how serious his gluten condition is. Sure enough sent burgers out on regular bun, seasoning on fries that's not gf. Everyone in our party was finished before we got ours. It was good but very frustrating. The manager never came by, obviously did not care.
They have gluten free buns. I love getting their Chicken sandwich. It's amazing
Great service & very careful regarding cross contamination. Ate the avo-cobb salad there in October of 2013 when they still had the allergy binders for a menus. Corporate has now eliminated the binders & forces you to go online for an interactive allergy menu, which works as long as you have a smartphone.
Beer menu shows angry orchard as an option but they don't have it? Said they don't carry it anymore. Weird. Yukon chips (which I LOVE at our red robin back home) were cold & soft. Not crunchy. Service was ok. Waitress seemed inexperienced but nice. We complained about the chips and burnt burger. Manager came over. Nice guy. Took care of problems. Got replacement food. Etc.
Update: 8/5/14 I've been back to the Apple Valley and Victorville locations a couple of time since my initial review, and have had a few problems at each location. Each location I ended up sick at one point or another. Once my fries tasted like onion rings, and another time my plate came out and was served along with all the other orders. Your now expected to go online to find GF options. They no longer have a printed menu at the chain. I no longer trust this food chain and will not return. Not worth the risk!!
I'm a big fan of Red Robin's new GF menu. The last time I went to this location, the menu had been "digitized," so you can either look it up on a smartphone or request the restaurant's iPad, which I found a lot easier. The new online menu allows you to filter all menu items by dietary restrictions. Then it tells you exactly what needs to be changed for each item (most burgers, for example, tell you to substitute the bun for GF bun, and some might tell you to take off a certain sauce). The GF bun is pretty standard (and costs an extra dollar or 2) but there are plenty of delicious burgers and salads to choose from. The last time I was there, I also learned that they do have an allergen-safe fryer, but I think you have to specify that you want allergen-free fries when you order because it sounded like they have a non-GF fryer as well.
Good food and they do have a good gluten free menu but it is online only. Not really a problem because they have an ipad avaliable, but why not just include the gluten free menu with the regular menu? Red Robin needs to celebrate the fact that there are gluten free options, it is just a major bonus for their restaurant. Also, on a side note, server said they use a dedicated fryer for the fries.
I can actually have a bun!! and safe fries!! I always leave stuffed!
