I’ve been here several times over the past few months and was extremely impressed each time. The menu no longer has GF labels but they have a very helpful allergy-friendly menu on their website. It lists the ingredients extensively and will tell you all the swaps you can do to make different items GF. Their WiFi isn’t the greatest so I highly recommend looking at it beforehand. Each time I go in, I ask for the manager to help with my order because they are all well versed in cross-contamination. My go-to order is the Keep It Simple burger with a GF bun, lettuce, tomato, and avocado with a side of plain fries. It may not sound that exciting of an order, but I am incredibly sensitive to gluten so being able to safely eat a burger and fries in a restaurant is a huge deal for me. They have told me that the only things that touch their grill are the meat patties, mushrooms, and eggs. Lettuce comes pre-shredded in a bag and tomatoes are sliced on a dedicated cutting board. They don’t toast the bun since it’s a universal toaster. Mustard is Heinz brand and the mayo is Ken’s, both of which are GF. The fries are in a dedicated frier but BEWARE - I’ve now had 2 managers tell me that even though the Red Robin seasoning is marked GF, they reformulated and now can’t guarantee it so I always go without. Also important - they will put a purple toothpick in your burger when served to indicate it’s GF. The manager said if the purple toothpick is ever missing, immediately send the order back to be remade. This has become my go to place for a burger and I’ve yet to have any kind of reaction. If you’re someone who wants a ton of options, though, it may not be the right place for you.

Their online menu identifies exactly what items include gluten and options to swap (eg, sauces, buns, etc). Dedicated French fry fryer! Server was knowledgeable and helpful.

Usual RR experience. They do a good job to try to keep us Celia a safe.
Red Robin has gluten-free buns for their burgers. Many locations also have dedicated fryers for gluten free-fries. Please verify with your server.
My Husband is severely Gluten intolerant and his food was not only delicious but he had absolutely no reaction to it at all. He got the Gluten Free bun on the ultimate burger and was left with no complaints. We will definitely return

Good gluten free options. Not very clean restaurant and fries came out cold. Very “meh”.
Yes
Great food and safe. Just be sure dedicated fryer working. I too got sick when it was broken and wasn't told at another chain. This one has been great. However, I want to know why the milk shakes aren't considered GF? Been too afraid to try.
I have Celiac and Red Robin is one of my go to locations while traveling. I use their electronic allergen iPad to assist with ordering. I typically get the simple burger on a GF bun with their freckle fruit.

I have been here several times. I love the chili and salad combo and sometimes I will get the sweet potato fries. I have not had any problems after eating here.

I'm very sensitive to gluten. I have not gotten sick from eating here. And the servers are very patient and willing to go back and forth checking what is gluten free and what is not (as far as sauces, etc.)
Great gluten free burgers and fries.

Went to a party. Five people were gluten free. We ordered with emphasis on gluten free. Ordered burger wraps and sweet potato fries. Burgers were cold and didn't taste right. We got the sweet potato fries which we asked for no seasoning and it was full of seasoning (has gluten in it). We told the Asst. manager about our problems with the meal and her response was "what do you want me to do about it?" So she proceeded to go to the kitchen and get us a few orders of regular fries, which had seasoning on them.....Never went back. Would not trust them!

On a long road trip from Seattle to Sacramento I was worried about where I would be able to eat, I'm one of those that gets sick supper easy. Saw that Red Robin had the GF buns from the other reviews and to ask for the sweet potato fries to be cooked in separate. Our waitress said that if you mention anything about allergy they take extra caution and it does come in a yellow basket. The bun was one of the best I have ever had and never ended up sick.

I've eaten here 2x. Once I got sick, once was perfect... Let me explain. I ordered off the GF menu both times. The first time the waiter said the sweet potato fries were "fine". Ugh... Guess not... Second time... Knowledge is power... All fries are fine IF they are done in the dedicated fryer. That's what I thought I was getting on the first visit. You must request them out of the dedicated fryer even when ordering off the GF menu. And ALLERGY FOOD comes in a yellow basket. Not the regular red one. So first visit I got regular food and sick... Second visit... 5 stars!!! Knowledge is Power!!
Gluten free buns and very knowledgable server. Would definitely recommend!
My first time at a Red Robin and I loved it! Had a burger and fries (gluten free) and they came with a little purple stick in it to indicate gluten allergy. Waitress was wonderful! (They also have pretty good ranch)

Notified server GF, ALLERGY. Ordered a burger GF bun. Fine until I quickly remembered that it had steak sauce on it ISN’T GF.
After asking this server about it, he didn’t know so he wouldn’t ask the chef and he didn’t know so he sent the bottle out to me. It clearly states that it has barley vinegar in the ingredients. Seriously disappointing that the kitchen staff is preparing “gluten-free food” and they have no idea what has or doesn’t have gluten in it.
Nice way to ruin the end of my trip. And will be sick for the next couple of weeks.

This Red Robin use to be my go to place. But the last two times I have been glutenized and got sick. I longer recommend this restaurant.

Always a reliable choice. Red Robin's online allergen menu is extremely helpful and in-depth, symptomatic celiac been coming here for many years and never had a problem. It's not fine dining or anything but it's about as good as it gets for a huge chain restaurant like this.
