Great! Manager brought out gluten free menu and explained everything. Took the order and brought the meal while waitress was by her side. Gluten Free bun good as well. Definitely will go back. Also used different colored trays. Manager also gave suggestion of option for fry sauce that had gluten. Being diagnosed with CD only 2 weeks ago it was nice to feel confident in the food served.

This was our favorite burger place, & when I found out I needed to go GF I was so excited to know that Red Robin had a GF bun & their fries are also GF. However we were slightly disappointed in how things tasted, mostly due to the fact that the seasoning they use on the burgers & the fries is not GF. Our waiter was knowledgeable enough to let us know that & had the kitchen leave it off. So the burgers & fries seemed very bland, & the GF bun was not very tasty either. I still think its a good place to eat & the experience was good with our waiter, but next time we will bring our own GF seasoning. It's one of the only restaurants you can find GF fries (they use a dedicated fryer), so we will definitely be back!

I had the american burger on the lettuce bun, my basket came out with a different colored paper liner stating that it was for someone with an allergy, and my fries were cooked in a dedicated fryer. great experience!

Disappointing. No dedicated menu. Was handed a separate list with lots of qualifications and no entree descriptions. I had to have the regular menu and the cheat sheet open to figure it out. Options were pretty minimal. Fries were qualified as not GF due to a shared fryer - so why are they on the GF list ? GF menu said no GF buns yet the regular menu showed that got an extra charge you could get a GF bun. Disappointing

Great experience if you are lucky to get a good server. I told my server I have celiac and she was amazing. She told me about their gluten free buns, which are delicious and even taste better than regular buns. She also told the chef and he made sure to wipe down equipment for no cross contamination. When I went I was also new to being gluten free and almost ordered onion straws..until the chef sent my waitress back to check and make sure I knew they contained wheat. knowledgeable and overall friendly staff and restaurant.

The computer generated list of acceptable foods is non-sensual. Ok to have the bruschetta chicken sandwich, but don't have the bruschetta or the bread. The do offer gluten free rolls, but don't mention it on the printout. No prices on the printout and they don't give a regular menu unless you ask for it. Manager and staff were not knowledgeable about the menu, just kept referring me to the confusing computer generated list. Finally had a plain chicken breast with lettuce and tomato. Came with no condiments, had to wait for the waitress to come back to ask for them. On the plus side... They do have a dedicated fryer. I've eaten at other Red Robins that were great ... But this one is off the list for me.

I had been meaning to try Red Robin dsince they tout having a "gluten free menu". What they have instead is one of those hard to decipher lists that hardly matched the menu. The waitress was great and tried her best. I noticed just bland, seasonless choices on the menu. She worked with me and we thought we found something good. When it came out the cook had freaked over having an allergic person. My burger was dry and flavorless. The toppings were microwaved rather than sauteed and were rubbery. The sweet potato fries were bland and in tiny pieces like I got the dregs out of an old bag that had been in the freezer too long. I don't plan on trying Red Robin again. The only thing they got points for was not making me sick.

LOVE! Just ask for an allergy menu at the front, and be sure to tell them what your allergies are. Never hurts to order from a manager. I always write my order down and just let them take it to the kitchen. It helps about mistakes. Important notes: ask for no Red Robin Seasoning on your burger and ask for allergy-safe fries without Red Robin Seasoning (they have a separate fryer). They have gluten-free buns for an additional $1 also, or you can get a big lettuce wedge wrap for free (tastes great)!

Love that they have gf buns for sandwiches and burgers. Their sweet potato fries are great gluten free too. One visit here I did get a regular bun... Luckily I recognized it as being too soft and squishy to be true gluten free bread and had the server double check back in the kitchen. They ended up preparing me an entirely new meal and did not charge me for it. I appreciated the efforts they took to fix the mistake, but it does make me a tad nervous.

Horrible for a gluten-free diet! No GF desserts, soups, or appetizers (except for hummus w/o the pita bread). Only one entree - the Ensenada Chicken Platter; however, it needs to be ordered without Baja Ranch dressing, Ancho marinade, tortilla strips, or salsa. That makes it pretty much just plain chicken breast! I was wary of the bleu cheese dressing, since their bleu cheese crumbles are not GF; but the dressing probably comes in a gallon jug from some manufacturer other than whoever provides their fresh bleu cheese. I give them one star only because they actually have a GF menu... The experience actually left me hungrier than when I went in!

I have been back three times with my daughter to this Red Robin. They are on top of the gluten free. We've had great success! My daughter has Celiac, so I'm checking out the restaurant before I bring her. I asked for the Gluten-free menu and they brought it out. The recommendations for burgers were no bun, but it turns out you can order a gluten-free bun for an extra fee. The bun is fantastic! They were very serious about the kitchen being safe with the food and have dedicated fryers for French fries. They seen very aware and concerned about preventing gluten contamination. I hope to hear reviews from others that they are as safe as they say.

Service is great but not when crowded. The gf buns are Udi's buns and each time I have come, the buns are always served overcooked and nearly too hard to eat. It's disappointing because the Red Robin in Carlisle and Hershey are so good, with gf buns served just right. However, a friend said that if you specifically ask for SOFT buns, they will comply.

And the bun tastes good. There are other gf options - I typically get a salad. But the ranch dressing isn't safe, and that's highly annoying. Also, the staff is barely knowledgeable. We have always been able to ask for an ice cream shake, no malt, and been fine. Suddenly, it's impossibly to not add the malt - even though they make shakes and malts! And they've reassured us that the malt is added in by the chef/cook, not premixed. I don't know what their problem is, but when we ask for the gf menu or order gf, I ALWAYS get an eyeroll. Seriously? Get over it.

I have to say that I read the review below this afternoon when looking for somewhere to eat lunch. It's very hard to find GF stuff in Montgomery so I took a chance and decided to go for it. My server Candee was awesome and very knowledgeable about the menu. She reassured me that they completely change the oil for the fries and will not place anything else near the food. I also have other allergies such as fish/shellfish and milk, so it's especially hard for me to find things to eat. I had the Simply Grilled Chicken burger with the optional lettuce wrap. It was delicious and flavorful. I will definitely be going to this restaurant again.

This location did a very poor job of accommodating a gluten free diner. I was given the allergy menu, and ordered a turkey burger , gluten-free. Luckily, I read the menu closely or I would have been in a world of hurt when the server brought the burger smothered in the non-gf mayo sauce. He was no where to be found, and my niece was left to eat her kid's meal by herself. Another waiter saw I wasn't eating and asked if there was a problem. He was surprised at the lack of knowledge by kitchen staff and took my burger away. A few minutes later the original waiter brought me a "new" burger which was really jut the original burger, still swarming in mayo, on a new gf bun. The manager, who took quite some time to make it over, offered me yet another burger and I declined as my niece was already done eating and I no longer wanted to take my chances. She offered me a gift card for future visits, which I found rude as they would not just pay for my Niece's food, the same amount as the gift card. This truly was an awful experience, and another lesson in reading carefully.

So I had to get a side salad instead and he had know idea if any of there dressings were gluten free and I had to ask him twice to go check. My turkey burger arrived cold in the middle. Bad food, bad service. The Red Robin in Wilsonville has always taken impeccable care of me so I was expecting the same.

I ordered the Sauteed 'Shroom burger on a gluten-free bun (which is $1 extra). I didn't realize that ordering gluten-free gives you a flavor-free meal. The burger must come loaded with gluten usually because the version that they brought me had ZERO sauce and a pile of very plain mushrooms. I wish that the waitress had mentioned that it would come with no sauce or spice because it was beyond bland. The bun is good, but keep napkins handy because it can get sort of soggy and crumbly on the bottom. The steak fries were alright but didn't make up for the burger. If you eat here, make sure to order something that doesn't need any sauce to be tasty.

Awesome. I've been to other Red Robin restaurants and this one is much better. You tell them you want to order gluten free and they tell you exactly how they will be preparing your food in a dedicated preparation area. They even have a dedicated fryer for fries. All the staff is familiar with gluten-free food handling. They bring your food out separately so your food doesn't get contaminated with your other guests. They even have UDI's gluten free buns for a dollar extra.

We were loyal customers but probably won't be back. Go somewhere else.

Red Robin is a family favorite. The managers wife has Celiac so he really knows his stuff. Dedicated fryer for fries, and GF buns. We have been there 20+ times and love it. PS. I was told that even though the seasoning does not list wheat in the ingredient list, RR cannot guarantee that there was no cross-contamination in the production, so if you have Celiacs it is safer to avoid it.

Today my husband and I ran the 2012 Hell Run at Buckeye Lake in Ohio to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary. Our in-laws even came out to watch the event and they grabbed some great pictures. We were starved after the event and decided to head back towards our house. I saw on Find Me Gluten Free that Red Robin had gluten free menu and after some internet searching found that they even have a gluten free bun! Hell Run 2012 This trip was not healthy by any means but I figured we just did this 5k right with obstacles so I decided to indulge in a gluten free cheeseburger. After all, I have to try it for all of you right? This was a GREAT cheeseburger. Not only did they give me the gluten free bun but they cooked the french fries completely separate so they wouldn't be contaminated with the other fried gluteny stuff. This was so exciting! I don't think I've had french fries in months. The bun was fluffy and big, the burger was juicy and it hit the spot perfect. My husband even got a gluten free bun and shared my fries, which he enjoyed as well! Highly recommended! They were very sensitive to my celiac disease and gluten free needs. Only downfall - I smell like a big greasy onion after eating there!

Asked for a gluten free menu and was given a take out menu, after explaining I had food allergies another server then brought me an allergy menu. When ordering my food I was very specific about my allergy and my needs and the server asked me 3 times if I was positive I couldn't have croutons on my salad because he thinks they are gluten free (they are not!). When my food arrived, it was delivered by someone other than my server, I asked if it was an allergy meal (as other red robin locations always announce this when delivering my food) I was told they didn't know because they weren't my server. At this point I was very hungry and didn't see anything suspicious about my meal, so instead of double checking as I should've I ate the meal and got very sick. Not sure what went wrong, but I will never be going back to this red robin again.

Red Robin sets the gold standard for gf dining at a restaurant. Separate cooking and prep area, everything labeled and most importantly, great staff training. We've eaten here dozens of times and never had an issue. One tip: ask for extra no salt fries at the end of placing your order and they will bring you a couple baskets before your meal arrives. Gf orders take a little longer since they make it from scratch.

I am a Celiac Disease-diagnosed traveller. The restaurant manager and server were very accommodating to our specific gluten free needs. The manager said that the peanut allergy and gluten free needs were the most popular dietary restrictions for their restaurant, so they were used to cooking in the kitchen to meet the customer needs and requests. The fries are made in a separate fryer, although next to other fryers. The gluten free bun was delicious with my burger, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayo. I had lots of fries (they're limitless) without seasoning, although our second batch did have a little seasoning, which I ate. My g-free daughter had a grilled chicken breast on the g-free bun with cheddar cheese, lettuce, and tomato. She also had fries, and neither of us were sick at the 2-3 hour mark after dinner. I never found out if the fries seasoning is g-free, because there is conflicting comments online. Recommend reading the ingredients list on the seasoning when you visit for up to date info. I was pleased with the attention we received to help us eat delicious, g-free sandwiches.

I must say that I had a truly pleasant GF experience at this Red Robin in Montgomery, AL, while on my way to a business trip in Atlanta. I was nervous to try this place, considering the GF menu having SO MANY disclaimers. Upon calling, the manager Derek reassured me that they offer GF buns, prepare the food very carefully to avoid cross-contamination, and have a dedicated GF fryer for the french fries. With this reassurance, I decided to give them a try (a bold move considering the major business meeting I have in Atlanta tomorrow). My waitress, Toya, was even more reassuring. She quickly instructed me not to use the special Red Robin salt seasoning on my fries, and shared with me that a she regularly has people request GF accommodations. Pam from the local GIG group also recommended I try it, after sharing that their support group recently had a meeting there. I will definitely returning to this Red Robins and hope to have similarly pleasant experience at other locations within this restaurant chain.

I have ate here a few times. I havnt gotten sick from the food yet. They almost always involve the manager when you ask for a gluten free menu to make sure you have a safe and happy meal. They have gluten free buns but I think they microwave them to defrost them because lately they have been comming out tough and rubbery like. They usually don't ask me if I would like more fries on my bottomless fries (most likely cause they don't want to moniter the kitchen staff to make sure they don't season the fries). They used to have the California burger on the gluten free menu which is what I always got but now they have taken it off :( Over all though, if you are craving a burger and fries this is pretty much a safe bet.

Side of steamed broccoli was sub par- I didn't know you could mess up steamed veggies. But staff was friendly and accommodating. If you go, you MUST try the sweet potatoes!!

This Red Robin is the only one in Colorado that has a separate GF fryer in a separate designated area of their kitchen. They have always been very careful and accommodating. It is hit or miss whether the GF bun will be good. I have found if I order the mayo on the side it seems better as they tend to put too much on the bun. Also if you don't like the bun the will remove the cost of it or replace it with a fresher one. Be sure to sign up for the rewards card, its a real $ money saver if you go often, plus the free burger for your birthday!

I know this is just my 1 experience, but if I can get it out there and hopefully save someone else from enduring this horriffic embarrasment that my family had to endur..GOOD!. They now carry a gluten free bun which is very tasty. The quality of the food and service is somewhat inconsistent. They have a binder which lists gluten free options. It would be nice, however, to feel like a real person and be offered an actual menu emetine gluten free offerings. The binder forces you to look at the options then back at the regular menu for the descriptions. It's sort of like taking an exam and makes choosing your meal time consuming. Overall it is nice to have some options when I dine there with my family.

Best gluten free experience ever. Dedicated kitchen. Brent, the GM, goes out of his way to provide a great gluten free experience, as does TeeJ. They have a dedicated g-free kitchen including fryer, and serve the g-free burgers in a yellow basket (instead of red) so they are sure they serve them correctly. They will soon be able to provide gluten free buns, but until they do, you are welcome to bring in your favorite g-free bun in it's original package and they will use it for your burger. Although they currently provide only "Redbridge" (Gross), they will soon be providing better options for g-free beer, such as Bard's or New Planet Off Grid IPA. Take it from one who travels a lot, this is the best Red Robin in the chain.

server was super helpful. Even though the g-free menu said the fries were considered g-free, just to worry about the fryer, he said the seasoning wasn't g-free and to always ask for the fries without seasoning. I wouldnt have done this had he not warned me based on what the menu said.

The gluten-free menu is fine. The lettuce burger tasted pretty good. It did come with fries, but the waiter was great about replacing that with something else. It was an easy meal.

Good GF menu but they couldn't find it for some time. Wait staff and manager were very attentive and careful about the meal. Only downgrade is that GF meal came out 5 min before other meals. We will definitely go back.

At any Red Robin they will lettuce wrap a burger and if you say gluten free they have an actual allergy alert process they follow. Sometimes your food takes a few minutes longer to come out because a manager has to bring allergy alert foods to the table. Very little hassle overall!

Good GF menu staff trained and never got sick there. They wrap burgers with lettuce and you can have the fries as they cook separate and don't put seasoning on them. Yummy!!

Good service and gluten-free choices. Had the Chicken Cesar Salad w/o croutons. Found out when it arrived that it also comes with bread. Not difficult to avoid eating it but next time I will remember to order without to avoid the waste.
