We had read the great reviews and stopped in today with our celiac teen for a waffle cone and he unfortunately is now suffering from cross contamination symptoms after eating it. While they say the cones are gluten free, they aren’t careful with cross contamination.

I was skeptical of this place at first because the waffle cone looks and tastes too good to be gluten free. However, I have eaten here twice and it was all good! Some of the staff is knowledgeable while others are not. The waffle cone is AMAZING and all of the flavors are gluten free. Only concern about this place is possible cross contamination with other non gluten free cones, but they have the best gluten free ice cream cone I have had!

I am visiting Charleston and was SO EXCITED to have a gluten free cone. I ordered my daughter’s ice cream and then was asking about gluten free options for me (celiac). The girl behind the counter informed me just the waffle cones were GF (no problem!) and all flavors were. When I inquired about if they had a separate container for GF flavors she said they all are and I pointed out that she scooped my daughters into a cone that contains gluten. Her response was “yea, but I didn’t touch it”. So, use your judgement but the girl looked at me with a completely blank stare. It was disappointing.

Okay first off, they have GF waffle cones and not just the little baby pre packaged one - like big fresh homemade ones, which I’ve never seen anywhere else so it was very exciting! ALL their flavors were GF and they had multiple DF options as well. Overall great experience and a great treat!

Absolutely every ice cream is gluten free and their focus seems to be to offer gluten free over gluten containing products. Their waffle cones are also gluten free! They offer dairy free options as well.

I was delighted to have butter pecan ice cream and it was delicious.

The menu isn’t marked and the girl working the counter didn’t seem to speak much English. She confirmed that all ice creams and waffle cones are gluten free but I’m not sure she understood what I said. I took a chance based on recent reviews. I had the butter pecan in a waffle cone. It was 3.5 huge scoops for $8. The ice cream was just ok but the cone was delicious!

Such a great place! The waffle cones were such a nice treat and it was so nice to be able to have cookies and cream ice cream! I did still request they scooped the ice cream from a new container with a clean scoop as there are regular cones available, but they were more than happy to accommodate.

Went twice in three days. Delicious and dedicated GF including all cones! Staff was very friendly, could not give sample/tastes due to Covid though. Smallish selection of ice creams…maybe 8? Still worth it!!

GF cookies and cream is enough to make me a repeat customer! All of their flavors have been GF when I've visited.

As others have said, the owner has Celiac's, so this place is very gluten friendly. They have GF cake cones. All ice cream is GF except for the cookies and cream. Let them know that you are gluten free and they will change scoops and/or clean one before acooping. I've cream is very good and the prices are reasonable.

The owner is celiac and almost all ice creams are gluten free. They also have gluten free cones. To avoid cross contamination with the ice cream and regular cones, I recommend the soft serve. It's really good!
