I felt really safe eating here. Staff was so nice! They assured that our dishes were gluten free and informed the kitchen to avoid cross-contamination. They also offered us gf bread as a starter. Salmon was so tasty but the side dishes served with it were a bit funny (salad and french fries in huge bowls).

Restaurant Mejuffrouw Janssen exceeded expectations with its delicious food and outstanding service. The shrimps and steak we ordered were cooked to perfection, and were a great combination of Dutch and French cuisine. Our waitress, Rosa, was incredibly attentive, especially considering my gluten and dairy intolerances, ensuring every dish was safe for me to enjoy. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I highly recommend.

Het hoofdgerecht, zowel de kalfslende als de tamme eendenborst waren flauw van smaak, de saus bij beide gerechten smaakte waterachtig. Het was ook heel weinig wat je kreeg. De baverois was ook heel klein en zeker niet de prijs van 8,95 waard.

Ze wisten echt duidelijk waar het om gaat. Ze hielden goed rekening en bijna alles van de kaart was met een kleine aanpassing te bestellen. Heerlijk gegeten en erg aardige en kundige bediening. Ik zou er zo weer heen gaan als ik in de buurt ben!

We were here in a weekend. The staff was kind and knew a lot about celiac. They had a special kind of butter homemade glutenfree. There was glutenfree bread available. The fries are dedicated glutenfree. The Meat was well prepared. Nearly everything on the menu could be adapted to become glutenfree. We had no stomach pain afterwards so There was no cross contamination I suppose.

I really enjoyed the food but I can't attest if it was safe for celiacs. I had some aches the next day and I didn't get a very safe feeling from the waitress. She would roll her eyes after every question about my dietary needs (gluten-free, lactose-free, onion-free, garlic-free). It didn't show a lot of understanding and empathy. Maybe she was busy or stressed. I wouldn't suggest you shouldn't go there given there are other good reviews. However, I would suggest talking with another waiter if yours acts like mine.

I have been here twice and both times the dinner was amazing. Very nice location and the staff was super sweet and patient. They know a lot about the food and what is gluten free and they are happy to answer all your questions and double check if necessary. Will definitely come back!

Came here twice in 3 weeks. Amazing location right on the canal, and there are legitimately many, many options that are safe for Celiacs. They really know their stuff, so this includes many desserts (which include almond-meal based toppings instead of traditional crumb, for example). Dedicated fryer, so fries are safe, too. Highly recommend!!
