Found myself in Lafayette, Indiana and looked up GF friendly places, since we love BBQ and this place had gf fried pickles we had to try it. We started out with the fried pickles with ranch. YUM!!!!! So many gf starters to choose from. I was set on the pickles and they did not disappoint.

I had the pulled pork platter which was smoked just enough and very moist. I’m a slaw on my bbq coved in sauce kinda gal and this was great. The soda beans were not your typical sweet bbq beans rather a spicy bean that I’d order again. Also, came with a piece of waffle corn bread that was nice to cut the heat of the beans and cleanse the pallet.

My mother had the brisket which she enjoyed and said she would order again. She said potato salad was ok just missing a bit of something.

The staff were friendly and were able to answer all our questions. The restaurant itself was clean and had a nice atmosphere. We were in Lafayette for other reasons and found ourselves needing to eat and found this gem but we will be driving back to Lafayette if for no other reason than to eat here and try more of the menu.

This is my new favorite food! So many gluten free options and haven’t tried anything I didn’t love yet. Gluten free or not, everyone I have taken here is in love with this food. Don’t let the word Barbecue detour you. Initially I assumed it was either spicy or full of greasy meats. I was very wrong. I live the chicken tacos American style. They fill you up fast as they are heartier than they appear. The waffle corn bread is delicious. Loaded tots are as good as it gets. Grits fritter was different for me but hit the spot. ALL of these are gluten free! Many more options too! The FRIED PICKLES… I’ve never been able to have a fried pickle because nowhere has them gluten free… they are perfection!

We've tried a lot of barbeque places and this was not very good. The sauces weren't that good, and the meat was just ok. They forgot my potato salad, so I didn't get to try that. The cornbread waffle everyone raves about was extra dry and bready - I don't understand what other people see in this place! It was hard to tell how cautious they were, and I noticed there was no allergy or gluten free mark on the receipt, which made me a bit skeptical. I don't think I reacted to anything I ate, but that is the only pro I can give this place. My husband said that even the gluten-containing Texas toast was done badly. We would not come back.

Love this place! I eat a lot of bbq being dairy free and gluten free but struggled to find a place where I can eat more than coleslaw as a side. Whatever they put on that chicken and tater tots is downright addictive and the vinegar slaw gets better with age, like most of us.

Staff wasn't sure whether they had a dedicated gluten free fryer and only listed glove changes as the cross contact procedures that the kitchen follows. Opted to play it safe and just ordered the brisket and pulled pork tacos with Pico de Gallo. Both meats were very tasty but I would have appreciated the staff being more knowledgeable on gluten free protocols.

Almost all of the menu is GF. Everything that is fried is GF so they have a dedicated fryer. All the sauces are GF. My husband and I split a plate with 2 meats, tots, and creamy coleslaw and an order of fried pickles and it was all so good! They also had 2 GF mini pie options. I got a mini key lime pie which was also delicious. The menu online is marked with GF but the menu on the chalkboard inside the restaurant is not. Staff can answer questions.

Everything we ate here was SO good. Gluten free fried pickles?! Out of this world. Husband is not GF and he loved everything too. We will be back for sure.

Everything we had here was incredible. I am celiac, and my wife is not. She enjoyed it as much as I did. The brisket was amazing, the bourbon baked beans, amazing…ribs were amazing, and they even have gluten-free cornbread that they make in a waffle maker. And yes… Amazing! Everything was from scratch. Their menu was clearly marked with GF items and I was told the owner has celiac. Some of the best bbq we’ve had across the country.

We took a detour today, ended up in Lafayette and knew we had to check this place out after seeing all the great reviews. The place did not disappoint! There are so many GF options on their menu (which are clearly marked). To be able to eat fried pickles and corn bread while out at BBQ was a dream come true. And having a few dessert options just topped the meal off. If ever in Lafayette, I’ll will be going back.

Pulled Pork Tacos on gf tortillas, fried pickles, corn bread and for dessert key lime mini oie.pie. All the food was amazing and so glad I found this place. Service was little slow so this could be worked on. Will be back!

I love this place! This is the first place I go to if I’m wanting to eat out and not have to be worried or interrogate the wait staff. I just day “hey I have celiac” and they know what to do! Sometimes they have nachos which are my favorite! Their fryer is gluten free which is amazing. And gluten free fried pickles!!

This place is fantastic!! We tried it for lunch and all the meat and sauces are GF. They do have almost all sides Gf. They have corn muffins that are GF. No bread but we so did not miss it and if you need they have corn tortillas. They have homemade S’mores pie & Key lime pie that was GF. It was all so good. We also tried the fried pickles. It was awesome to be able to actually eat and not just pick off a menu. It was so good we went back the following night for dinner. I highly recommend this place. Plus the atmosphere and the staff were awesome.

Amazing experience! Had the pulled pork tacos with gf corn tortilla, gluten free fried pickles and gf corn bread, it was absolutely amazing! I even asked our server what he would recommend for a gf cocktail and he brought me what may be my new favorite drink. As someone with a new celiac diagnosis, I’ve been terrified to eat out and this was a wonderful experience. We will definitely be coming back!

The food was amazing. So many GF options. We started we with the GF deep fried pickles. Thay were incredible. I had pulled pork with the GF cornbread. The cornbread was the beat I've ever had. Pulled pork just melts on your mouth. Also had. Gf smores pie. Very yummy. Highly recommend this place. We will be back!!

I felt extremely safe eating here. The staff was very clear with the menu and their protocols. Almost everything is gluten free so not too much to worry about!

Everything I had was AMAZING. Great bbq options and almost are the sides are gluten free so was able to share with friends and try almost all of them.
