As a GF student at Cornell, I can confidently say this is the best and safest gluten free food I have ever had. The entire facility is gluten-free, so there is no fear of cross contamination and I have never gotten sick! The variety of food is huge, and they have items GF people usually can't eat - cupcakes, stir fry, grilled cheese, tostadas. Much of the food is also healthy and unique, and there are plenty of vegetarian, vegan and other allergen-free foods. They also have fun theme dinner nights! Risley is the place to go for GF food in Ithaca.

I work on campus and eat here frequently. Multiple hot options, including soup and an omelet station. Cold stations include a salad bar and fruit. Around $12 for lunch. I would say it is probably one of the only truly safe GF options in Ithaca, since most restaurants around here can't seem to figure out the cross-contamination issue.

I am so impressed with this dining hall! They recently became gf certified and are also peanut- and tree nut-free. The chef takes things very seriously and makes everything taste so good! Worth the trip if you are in Ithaca. Easier to park on campus at night.

Risley Dining is now certified 100% gluten-free, tree-nut-free, and peanut-free. Nearly everything is made in-house using fresh, seasonal ingredients that are sourced locally as much as possible.
