Staff were very inexperienced with allergies. I was told there were 2 gluten free pastas. When I asked which sauces were GF I was told tomato...but there wasn't a tomato only option. The waiter told me they don't use much flour for things. As I was dining with a group I didn't have the option to leave so made a guess...bad idea. Full blown GF reaction this evening. My partner has a milk protein allergy and asked to substitute for buffalo mozzarella which wasn't allowed. The server actually said "there's only a small amount of mozzarella so maybe it will be OK"! Nice enough restaurant but NOT diligent enough where allergies are concerned.

Not a good experience. First of all, I have celiacs disease and called to confirm that they have gluten free options. I was told they did do so my entire family went here for New Year’s Eve. Upon arriving, I asked the server as I was instructed on the phone what options were gluten free and he said “Nothing” and walked away from me. Which btw was a common practice for him throughout the night. So I sat there confused and waited for him to return to ask again as I was told they did have gluten free pasta. He insisted that they don’t and kept saying not tonight. He then said he’d ask the chef since someone informed me that they did. He then comes back and says oh sorry we do have it. So they created a meal for me which was bland and the pasta was underdone. My pasta for sure was not homemade and neither was my family’s. According to my family, all of their pastas tasted like out of the box pasta and even the meatballs tasted like chef Boyardee. If you’ve ever had real homemade pasta, you know the difference. The taste is amazing and this was not. My sister also ordered the prosciutto appetizer which looked sad. The prosciutto was plenty and looked pretty on the plate, however the 2 pieces of bread that came with it looked like the tiniest end pieces that should have been thrown in the trash and never served as a piece of bread unless you label it as a crouton as they weren’t much bigger than that. Also to the person who said the portions are large, are you ok? We all left hungry and my family does not pig out. We eat a normal amount of food and this was not enough. Plus the cost of it did not match the quality, the quantity or the service. The server also would not split the check so we split it our selves between two cards and cash. He came to the table and said no we cannot pay that way. I’m not sure why because anywhere we’ve gone takes the cash first and then runs the cards. I’ve been a server myself and used to own a restaurant. This can be done he just didn’t want to accommodate. They also will not substitute things which I don’t know why they wouldn’t because it’s not like their dishes tasted good as is anyway and probably should take substitutions as suggestions. Clearly, We won’t be back.
