I got sick twice. Now they stopped carrying gf pasta which is probably safer, because their gf items made me sick.
They stopped carrying gluten free pasta! Also they have raised the prices. Not worth stepping foot in the restaurant and this point.
Terrible experience! Friendly staff but no understanding that ceoeliacs CANNOT have gluten. They brought an allergy list menu. We made our choices and then they said that they had no gluten free pasta but could have the sauce with spinach instead. Hmmm. No.
Apparently the manager was out at the supermarket and GF pasta was on her list.
I also noticed that there was no GF pizza. If you're going to buy supermarket GF pasta, why not sling a couple of GF pizza bases in the freezer too?
We left.
One star for actually having a list at all.

I went to the Macaroni Grill for the first time in 3 years last night. My first experience was not that great 3 years ago. The food tasted good but I got unbelievable sick from the food. My friends and I decided we should give it another try. I hate being one of the people that just goes off on people about everything being terrible so Let me start off by saying the waiter was nice and so was the manager. But that was it. We waited an hour and a half to get our food. They said it was taking so long because they had to make the gluten free pasta from scratch. Finally when our food arrived it was cold. We sent it back to get it re heated. When the food came back it was just barely warm but we were so hungry we just started eating it anyways. I was 3 bites into my meal and found a regular non gluten free pasta noodle in my food. We called the waiter over and expressed again how sever my allergy to gluten was. He apologized and said he would get a manager. When she came to the table she apologized profusely and said she had her best chef remaking my meal and that my food was on them. We thanked her and she asked how everyone else's food was. That's when we told her how long we waited and then our food was cold. Which was obviously something the waiter had not told her. She again apologized and said all of our meals were on them. At this point I had already started to get sick and I had only had the couple bites of food. I finally got my meal which tasted pretty good. We finished our meal and got the left overs to go and tipped the waiter because he did a good job. But I still got really sick after eating. I took my leftovers for lunch and as I was 3/4 the way done and I found another regular pasta noodle that was not gluten free in my food I thew the rest away And once again got really sick! Needless to say I will not be returning to Romano's macaroni grill ever again.

the best gf chicken alfredo! I've been gf for 4 years and this was the first time I have been able to have this. This puts Olive Garden to shame!!! Many gf choices and quality food, service.
The food was great, the staff was knowledgeable about what food was gluten free (all penne). They were very accommodating. The gluten free pasta serving size is 1/4 the size of the normal pasta serving size for the same price.

Unfortunately they were out of gluten free pasta and other options are very limited especially for a picky eater who just wanted Mac and cheese.

Currently they do not have GF pasta options. However staff were knowledgeable about GF & cross contamination. The caesar salad w/out croutons, with chicken or shrimp is very good. Grilled salmon with side of spinach instead or orzo a good option as well. The service was excellent.

As of 7/21/22, they did not have gluten free pasta as an option. Although the macaroni grill website appears to show gluten free pasta available, this location said they didn’t have any and offered no explanation.

Their menu has zero gluten free substitutes/options. I asked our server for gluten free options and she ended up bringing me an allergy menu after we asked multiple times. When I ordered my dish she just seemed very bothered by the fact that I had an allergy and she had to deal with it. Granted I know it’s a pasta establishment but still. I ended up ordering the create your own pasta with the pomodorino sauce, their gluten free pasta, and some chicken and spinach. It was pretty good, it’s just the service and attitude that was subpar.
