I asked the waiter about gluten free options and he said “We have pasta, but it is really bad. You don’t want it.” Then proceeded to tell me I should get the regular pasta instead. We walked out. Not gluten friendly at all!
If you are on a Gluten Free diet, DO NOT go to the Macaroni Grill. They stopped providing gluten free pasta. They don't tell you this when they hand you the GF/allergy menu. I spent several minutes finding dishes I could eat and when it came time to order, they could not prepare any of them. The company decided to no longer stock GF pasta. To add to the situation, the GF/allergy menu is 3 years old and the manager told me that they stopped serving the pasta in January. Four months. That is plenty of of time to print a new menu. We paid for our wine and left the restaurant. Their customer relations department will be receiving a letter, e-mail, or phone call from me very soon.

Not only did they quit carrying GF pasta but we were handed 3 year old menus and sat there for ten minutes and then told they could not prepare any of the GF OPTIONS ON THE MENU. We paid for our wine and left. We won't be back!

Our waitress was super knowledgeable about which dishes were gluten free or not. She was recommending me some dishes and even said they had gluten free penne! So I got gf penne with their pesto and roasted chicken. It was delicious but about 1-2 hours after, I felt sick. Bloated, congested and nauseous. I had no appetite for about 10 hours, which is very unlikely because I’m a snacker. It could’ve been cross contamination but I’m not sure because I didn’t ask. It’s also kind of hard to eat at places like this where mostly all of their dishes contain gluten (besides their fish/steak) :/ but overall customer service was great but I wouldn’t recommend to eat here if you’re in the mood for pasta.

The food was great, the staff was knowledgeable about what food was gluten free (all penne). They were very accommodating. The gluten free pasta serving size is 1/4 the size of the normal pasta serving size for the same price.

Unfortunately they were out of gluten free pasta and other options are very limited especially for a picky eater who just wanted Mac and cheese.

Currently they do not have GF pasta options. However staff were knowledgeable about GF & cross contamination. The caesar salad w/out croutons, with chicken or shrimp is very good. Grilled salmon with side of spinach instead or orzo a good option as well. The service was excellent.

As of 7/21/22, they did not have gluten free pasta as an option. Although the macaroni grill website appears to show gluten free pasta available, this location said they didn’t have any and offered no explanation.
