I have not gone for a long time because my last time was a disaster. A friend wanted to treat us to carry out and I refused. Made me look it up and I found this.
Used to love having gluten free pasta. Liability issues reported by staff the reason for getting rid of allergy menu items. I went with out and we will not return. HUGE MISTAKE to the new owners of the chain. It is time to improve food services not tell the world "our food is not safe to everyone in the world with any type of food allergy." Good luck with your customer service model.

Macaroni grill has stopped serving gf pasta so they decided to stop offering a gf menu. instead I got an outdated allergen menu and a rude look from the hostess. I expressed my worries to the waiter about the menu only partially matching the allergen menu, and he said, "I'm pretty sure the recipe hadn't changed for those things.". I went with it and had no problems, but the service was awful and the food was mediocre and cold.
Good GF options, especially if craving Italian food.
Our waitress was super knowledgeable about which dishes were gluten free or not. She was recommending me some dishes and even said they had gluten free penne! So I got gf penne with their pesto and roasted chicken. It was delicious but about 1-2 hours after, I felt sick. Bloated, congested and nauseous. I had no appetite for about 10 hours, which is very unlikely because I’m a snacker. It could’ve been cross contamination but I’m not sure because I didn’t ask. It’s also kind of hard to eat at places like this where mostly all of their dishes contain gluten (besides their fish/steak) :/ but overall customer service was great but I wouldn’t recommend to eat here if you’re in the mood for pasta.

The food was great, the staff was knowledgeable about what food was gluten free (all penne). They were very accommodating. The gluten free pasta serving size is 1/4 the size of the normal pasta serving size for the same price.

Unfortunately they were out of gluten free pasta and other options are very limited especially for a picky eater who just wanted Mac and cheese.

Currently they do not have GF pasta options. However staff were knowledgeable about GF & cross contamination. The caesar salad w/out croutons, with chicken or shrimp is very good. Grilled salmon with side of spinach instead or orzo a good option as well. The service was excellent.

As of 7/21/22, they did not have gluten free pasta as an option. Although the macaroni grill website appears to show gluten free pasta available, this location said they didn’t have any and offered no explanation.
