Rosamunde Sausage Grill

Really good spot for a casual bite on Mission. When I found out they had a gluten free fryer I could not resist getting some currywurst (the Berliner). Staff told me all sausages were gf except for the beer sausage. When I asked about CC on the grill they offered to cook mine on foil out of precaution. Did not get sick. Will definitely come back!

They have a fryer that only fries French fries! Most of the sausages are gluten free and gluten free buns. The cider was great too. Fantastic all around!

UPDATE: Last two times I've been here I have been served gluten-bearing foods despite the counter staff's assurance that she'd communicated the allergy info to the kitchen. Second time, despite a "fixed" order, I got quite ill. I will no longer eat here or recommend it. What a sad loss. (2016 December 6)

<OUTDATED>My new favorite spot in the Mission. Clean, airy, cheerful, and super tasty. GF beer available; cider on draft; not too pricy by SF standards. Awesome selection of sausages; I want to try them all! The GF bun is worthy. I did not ask about fries-frying practices, but I don't see anything else on the menu that looks like it'd go in the fryer.

This place is awesome! Most all the sausage options are gf except for like 3 of them. The sides except for baked beans are gf. Good fries had the chipotle chicken sausage! Can't wait to come back again. As a Celiac i have to be more careful with places offering gf and this place definitely well knowledge friendly awesome handle gf options.

Gluten free sausages, fries, and beer! They do not have gf buns but they have a platter that comes with a sausage, toppings, fries, and a salad. They have Estrella beer and a couple kinds of ciders.
