Gluten free options are marked on the menu
Huge gluten free options available! My lunch did come out on flour tortilla so I asked the manager if it was GF-she immediate went to the kitchen and fixed it! I haven’t gotten sick yet! Great experience!

Menu has items labeled with GF but with flour tortillas. I ordered shrimp fajitas and asked for corn. My companion ordered same dish with flour tortillas. The tortillas were brought out together in a dish, flour and corn mixed together.

Ate here again. (Feb '23). I feel like I eat here every single time but forget to review.
The new location is wonderful but make a reservation for sure. Great margs and delicious knowledge of GF food. Even the chips are separate. They used to have a separate plastic bag of chips but now they have a dedicated fryer. Everything was wonderful for us.
We ate here one night for dinner. The chips are in a bag and the server made sure my corn tortillas weren't warmed on the same surface as the flour ones.
Just tell your server what you need.
We had the fajitas and also the queso fundido. Both were great. Also the margaritas are delicious!
Restaurant has GF marked clearly, but some of those dishes require modifications. The server claimed they did not require modifications and he fed me a flour tortilla while claiming it was gluten free when I asked repeatedly. My friend explained it to him in Spanish and I in English. I don't think the server ever comprehended the problem. Maybe ok with a different server, but I am now back in my hotel room waiting to be sick when it hits.

I am visit San Antonio for a month and am trying to find some good celiac friendly restaurants, Rosario's was a logical choice based on their menu. I rented a bike and headed that way, after getting there I spoke with three separate servers and they had no idea what celiac was......that's ok, I explained. They showed me all the gluten free items...and I asked about cross contamination.....they said they don't change gloves or take exceptions on the line.....great menu, eat at own risk, the staff was not prepared.
UPDATE (a few years later)
I ordered and picked up. I had an extensive conversation and had their tacos. No issues or challenges!

Delicious! Never sick. Chips were ok for me, not sure if fryer is shared.
First time at this restaurant, went by the reviews. It did not disappoint. Didn’t get sick. Plenty of GF options on the menu, waiter was knowledgeable about gluten allergies. Definitely coming back next time I’m in San Antonio.

Go good! Everything well labeled
Well marked menu with GF options. Food was excellent and authentic!
Had dinner here last night and even though they were very busy, the wait times were quite reasonable. Menu items that can be prepared GF are clearly marked and our server was understanding and accommodating. The beef fajitas, chips and salsa were all delicious and I would highly recommend this place.
Server was very knowledgeable and understood my concern about cross contamination. He made recommendations beyond what was listed as gf on the menu. Excellent food—would recommend!
Stopped in for lunch. Menu easy to follow and staff knowledgable. Great environment!
Excellent food and most things if not already gluten free can be made gf. Knowledgeable staff. The gorditas were awesome!!

Visited on the evening of 8-16-18 and the entire meal and service was AMAZING!! Our server Luis was top notch- professional, friendly, attentive and gave us great suggestions. I am Gluten Free so the fact that it is clearly marked on the menu and the amount of options were incredible. We started with the Angelica’s Ceviche Fino - suggested by Luis- and loved it! The freshness and flavors were so good. For our entrees I had the Gluten Free Griselda’s Taco Callejeros with 1 beef and 2 chicken tacos. And my hubby had the Tacos Nortenos- 1 beef, 1 chicken. All I can say is that we ate every bit of food on the plates. Then somehow we split the again Gluten Free Coconut Flan. It was probably the best authentic Mexican food we’ve had in decades. The Flan was so authentic and different than any other we’ve had. Velvety, smooth and almost custard like - yum!!! I HIGHLY recommend Rosario’s for amazing authentic Mexican and Gluten Free food which is incredibly hard to find. And prices are very reasonable. Thank you Rosario’s and Luis!

Be careful! Staff knowledgeable and many GF items on menu but after eating felt real bad.

I've always loved Rosario's. After Celiac disease diagnosis I realized they have a very decent gluten free menu. I was thrilled. Never had an issue with cross contamination here.
Good experience. Their chips on table are from a bag so should be safe. Don't get any of their house chips as they are in a shared fryer. We had enchiladas with corn tortillas. Queso is gf as well. Menu clearly marked. Do use some common sense as in some of their menu items marked GF are not because they use the same fryer.

Clearly marked GF items on menu with plenty of choices. Staff is knowledgeable about gluten. Great looking place & tasty food. I felt great after eating here — i’ll be back.
Had Griselda’s tacos and they were delicious!!! Will be back!
I wouldn't say it's celiac friendly but more gluten sensitive friendly. They said the chips were gluten free but the house chips weren't? I could tell the chips would upset me after a couple so I stopped. Ordered fajitas and they were good. Menu states gluten free options, but be careful! Some read that gf but says flour tortillas.
No
Great food but not for Celiac's. They use same fryer for all food, including gluten free. They believe the fryer gets rid of the gluten. Unfortunate 😕

Great food and clearly labeled as GF on the menu, so no guessing about what you can eat. Fantastic service! Very reasonable prices. Gets a big tick from a gal from Down Under and her Dallas friend.

OMG couldn't believe how good their food is! Been there twice so far ( Velvet Band is amazing and the main reason we come to Rosario's, we love you Angie xoxo) The waiter/waitress is always very cheerful and knowledgeable of the Gluten Free Menu, thank you.
So delusions! Enchiladas are wonderful! The places only fault is that they brought us a large guacamole to start! The mix up was free too! Gluten free homemade chips, tons of options, no cross contamination. I felt fine after eating there, but walking back with a full stomach was tough! Our waiter was not familiar with the word celiacs, but was well informed on what gluten was and that I couldn't eat it. The menu is well labeled and the staff is helpful.
Beautiful interior and kind hearted staff. The tortillas they bring out with the meal are a blend of flour and corn, so stay away from them!
Other than that, this place was a wonderful Mexican gluten free place.
Love love love! Every time I am in San Antonio I eat here most of the nights We have so many options and can eat the chips and salsa!

So many choices which is rare with gluten free. Excellent service. Waiter, Justin, was incredible. He even brought my husband a sample of the two things he was considering. I would say A+++ for service, selection and quality.

Lots of gluten free options on the menu. So many it was hard to decide. Very friendly staff. Huge place, so plenty of room for larger groups. Salsa was delicious! Food was excellent! My kids finished their meals. We WILL be back! So glad to find this place!
Loved this place, best Mexican food we had in San Antonio. Fantastic and knowledgable waitstaff as well. Skip the rest and go here!
I loved this place before I went gluten free and love it even more now!! Best salsa in Texas!! Great gluten free options clearly marked on the menu!
So many labeled options! Delicious food and cute atmosphere. Pretty busy though so try to get reservations.
