The staff was very knowledgeable about what I could actually have on the menu. The obvious choices like Macaroni and Cheese is no-go. Also, their BBQ sauce is not gluten free. Staff told me my food would be prepared in a separate space in the back. I ended up getting the 5 rib plate (no BBQ) and it came with two sixes. I got a plain baked potato and their baked pinto beans. The food was okay. Ribs had a lot of meat on them so that was good. Just kinda bland since it had no sauce. I did not get sick from this place. I loved that the staff was so helpful. But just because the overall food was average, I’m giving a 4/5.

Very impressed and will definitely go back!! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of Celiac options. I told them I had a gluten allergy so no bread...they pulled out clean cutting board & knife, changed gloves, and new slabs of meat to serve on a different lined serving tray that hasn’t been contaminated with gluten. Then the staff told me which sides items were safe. I chose smoked turkey & sliced brisket plate with potato salad and coleslaw= all excellent and fresh!!! I didn’t even miss or need bbq sauce or beans to add flavor to meat. Excited to have leftovers for lunch tomorrow😋 Will definitely visit more often!!

very wonderful service and selections. the sauce isn't gluten free. I was told the chopped beef and pork come with sauce but even those they were willing to go in the back and get before sauce was added. ribs were out of this world. they change the cutting board utensils and gloves as soon as you mention gluten free and are so kind and helpful. a keeper

I told the owner my daughter was celiac. He changed the cutting board and staff changed their gloves too. They made sure her food was prepared before they started the rest of our order. Great gluten free options.

This is a good Texas BBQ place where the staff is very knowledgeable about GF and Celiac needs. The owner has a relative with Celiac, so they keep track of what is and isn't gluten free. All the meats are GF, the veggie sides are. The sauce and fried items (shared fryer) are not. But their meat is so good it doesn't need sauce. When you walk in, usually the manager is at the front of the line, tell them you are Celiac and they will pull out a clean cutting board and knife, change their gloves, and keep track of the meal prep to the end. It is cafeteria line style like most BBQ places, so it is all done right in front of you. Manager and owner are really on top of it, very nice to be treated so well and taken seriously.
