Walked by and this restaurant finally closed its doors. Previous owners and staff were clueless and made promises they couldn't keep. Word is that Saffron Bistro is coming into this location - if that's true I will scream with joy!

I used to eat here all the time a few years ago before I discovered my gluten allergy. Even though the service has always been hit and miss the food was always savory and full of spices. With my new food sensitivity I always call ahead to find out if the restaurant can accommodate a GF eater. I was assured many of their dishes can be made gluten free. Dinner was not only not nearly as tasty as I remember but I had a mild reaction afterwards which says to me they must have issues with cross contamination. What a shame to see a favorite place go downhill. They now seem to be skimping on their spices and it really harms the complexity and depth of their dishes. I'm very sorry to say even Curry Up Now's food, service and prices are better. I guess all things change.
