Updated Review 12/2016: the new, larger location carries a wider selection of GF flours (millet, teff etc) and GF products. However, none of the foods available in the enlarged deli are now safe, as everything is made on shared equipment and most of the prepared food is part of a buffet, where the risk of cross-contamination is high (and noted in writing).
Prior Review: Lovely grocery store, and very fun to shop in. Many of their deli and bakery items are labeled wheat-free, but not all are gluten free. They have switched to using tamari in many of their salads (the Kung pao tofu is killer). I was disappointed in their flour selection though. Although they carry a lot of pre-mixed baking kits, they didn't have basic flours like tapioca, let alone common ones like teff or buckwheat.
No
Great little store. However, very few GF items, many "made without wheat" items, but when really looking most have barley or are made on shared equipment. Had to return a few items because packaging was confusing. Be careful! Needs more truly GF items! For instance, only one option for hummus, one brand of cookie etc
Yes
Expensive but good. The deli lists all the ingredients and allergens.
