We ordered takeout over the phone and felt safe regarding their procedures against cross contamination. The food was a little bland.

I'm happy whenever I can have safe chips. A little bummed the queso was not marked gf on the menu (despite it being on the gluten free menu online). But it was all delicious

OMG white sauced enchiladas. I hadn’t had those in 10 years and I got them here! So yum. The rice is amazing and garlicky too. Menu is marked clearly and the waiter let the kitchen know I was GF. Will be returning.

Great Mexican food experience for celiacs! They can make almost everything on their huge menu gluten free. I got the enchiladas with corn tortillas and they were delicious. I’ll come back!

Our family had a great experience! The GF menu had plenty of safe options. They have a dedicated fryer for many GF items. Chips and guac were very good. My son (Celiac) had grilled tacos. I had the avacado dish. My husband had enchiladas - All were GF. The rice and beans were not very flavorful, but everything else was delicious. And it was just such a treat to have a GF menu and dedicated fryer!

Thanks for stopping in and we are glad you enjoyed your meal. I am sorry to hear that the rice and beans were not up to par, we will be monitoring those and making sure to improve them. I hope on your next visit they are spot on! We look forward to seeing you again.
This is one of my go-tos! They recently started doing their chips in a dedicated fryer!! Enchiladas are my favorite here!!

Glad to hear you enjoyed! Hope to see you again soon!
The menus are not updated - They have a dedicated gluten free fryer. The only thing they cannot make 100% GF are the quesadillas because of cross contamination. Guac and Queso were super yummy and tacos can be mixed and matched. Out of 6 of us, 5 were celiac and 2 of those 5 are also dairy free. Server was patient and accommodating!

Thanks for the review and we are glad you enjoyed your visit!
All of the menus should now be updated, thanks for the feedback!
Love their new GF menu. Every server I've had has been knowledgeable. The fryer is now dedicated as well. I have had my favorite Mexican food without feeling at all ill afterwards. Yippee!

They now have a gluten-free menu, separate fryer for chips, and separate prep area for gluten-free items. They have made a point to become super celiac friendly.
— Yes, the establishment is dedicated gluten-free

They have a dedicated fryer for chips and a gluten free menu. I had a chicken enchilada with red sauce and a black bean enchilada with tomatillo sauce as a combo plate with rice and beans. The enchiladas were very good, but I did not care for the sides. They seem very knowledgeable with regard to gluten containing ingredients and cross contamination.

I’ve ordered from Selena’s a few times. They have a gluten free menu but most items are fried in a shared fryer, which is an issue for many of us. I’ve never had any issues with contamination from the rice bowls but every now and then I’ll ask for something on the side and it’s placed on the top. As someone with other food issues, sometimes that worries me but otherwise I enjoy eating here.

Very good food. Loved the stuffed avacados. The menu was a little confusing but the waitress was knowledgeable and helpful.
While Salena’s doesn’t have a gluten free menu, the staff is knowledgeable and able to accommodate. I was able to have beef & pork tacos on corn tortillas. Unfortunately the chips are not gluten-free so that was disappointing.
