Rating as a person with Celiac.
I ordered a Rueben on Udis.
I specified “Gluten Allergy”.
Took 30 mins to receive after I ordered.
I was really sick within 20 min of eating 1/2 of my sandwich.
They did use 4 slices, which I appreciate!
If you don’t have celiac, you might enjoy it.
Need to note:
The girl at the register was unpleasant. Made it uncomfortable to order ‘cause her expression (before I started talking) made it look like she hated her job.
I stopped here because I was at a work event around the corner and they had nothing I could eat available.
I needed something quick and easy and I heard SF deli had GF options. Was a fail.
Won’t eat here again.

This place has been in town forever. They do the absolute best sandwiches. I haven't been there in over 2 years since I've been diagnosed. I was near there with my daughter and took her in there for a quick lunch. I assumed I'd watch her eat. Lol. Boy, was I wrong. They have Udi's GF bread for us!! There was a super long line so I didn't get into a long discussion about cross contamination with them and quite frankly I wanted a fat, lovely sandwich. I got a beautiful one. So far I'm feeling great and plan to go back. I'm thrilled to find a place locally like this. They also had lovely plates made up with meat, veggies, potato salad and a deviled egg for $6.99. So I'm pretty sure those would be even safer.... I know full well all deli meat isn't GF so beware of that. But I've been craving something like this for over 2 years and it was worth it!!! Buyer Beware... But I was super happy with my visit.
Updated Review. I've been twice and haven't had a reaction. The food is great!! I've had a roast beef sandwich on Udi's bread and a potato salad each time.
