The gf menu is limited but there is still options. The gf hush puppies are light and tasty. I had the blackened fish that was very tasty. The portion was quite large. For my side I has rice. Our server,Kristy, was very friendly and understanding about gf issues. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Our waitress wasn’t knowledgeable at all about the GF menu other than they have one and to bring us GF hush puppies when I asked for the GF menu. The GF menu does not list what sides are GF and when I asked she said “If it’s not listed on that menu, I don’t know” I had to ask if she could go ask about the sides which she reluctantly did.. If I remember correctly, the only side that is not GF is the rice pilaf (which is pretty standard). I had the shrimp scampi (does not come with pasta) and my celiac kids had a burger (w/o bun) and steamed shrimp, both with fries. No one got sick! Great food, but service is lacking knowledge for sure.

Had a gluten free menu. Waitress was very knowledgeable about celiac. Hush puppies are gluten free but didn’t try them. She said the hush puppies are fried in a different fryer.
— Yes, the establishment is dedicated gluten-free

Sooooo disappointed. If you’re celiac don’t eat the hushpuppies which is all I go there for. They are gluten free but fried in oil that has been filtered with gluten filled oil 😭. I’ve eaten them before (a couple of years ago) but I don’t remember if I had any reactions. 2 stars cause the cashier told me.

Delicious food. Epic, historic place to eat. Have a GF menu but need to navigate yourself as staff, who are plenty nice people, did not seem not well versed on GF. No problem with the hush puppies (thank goodness, since those are awesome). No problem with the stuff you’d expect to be no problem like scallops, bluefish, mussels, green beans, baked potato. Huge portions. Homemade cocktail sauce (not GF), crab dip, and tartar sauce. Dinner broiled fish seemed like 1.5 fish! As usual, best to ask the manager about individual requests and preparation.

Waitress informed me they have no gluten free food but a salad. I wouldn't come here if you have a true gluten allergy or if you are celiac. My family ate while I watched. Very disappointed.
— Not at all

Service was very good. Our server actually informed us that while they have a designated fryer, the oil is filtered together and therefore if you have allergies, to not eat the fried foods. Disappointed to learn that, because that’s not then a designated fryer. But I’m glad she did inform us! Enjoyed the broil mahi mahi.

While our waitress didn’t instill the greatest confidence in the beginning and the menu seems short, when you compare those items on the main menu there is so much to chose from. Hush puppies are also gluten free!! I had the shrimp and crab stuffed potato and it was to die for!
Gluten free menu is extensive. The hush puppies are gluten free from dedicated fryer. Have eaten here many many times with no issue and highly recommend.

Went there yesterday and WOW ARE THOSE GF hush puppies incredible! Our GF crowd had three baskets full! As I was leaving, I saw the hush puppy mix for sale. I looked at ingredients and it said wheat. Eek! I asked and a lady said, “they used to be gluten free, now they have wheat.” Before we could rush to a hospital, someone corrected her, thankfully! The GF hush puppies are worth finding this place.
Excellent food. Hush puppies gf in a dedicated fryer. Broiled/grilled seafood gf. They have an actual menu! I’ve been coming since I was a baby and now I bring my own kiddos.

Once I told the waiter that I had a gluten allergy another waiter popped up and said that their hushpuppies were gluten free which made my night!
