Understandably slow service - it's a small operation. Small portions and big prices. Food was pretty good! Unfortunately, I was somehow glutened. As its focus appears to be the Paleo fad diet and not serious Celiac sufferers, I'll take the blame for trusting instead of giving it to the restaurant. CD beware!

I ordered the meatloaf and left off the potatoes. Note they do not sell wine or any alcohol. You can bring it. Food was great and obviously safe. Tablemate got the liver and onions. Excellent!

Kind of pricey and a little bit overly trendy food, but it is good. I would go back. And it’s all gluten free!

Going to this place was an absolute dream! It's difficult enough finding gluten free and food that's safe but then to find something that meets all the specs I could possibly want and the service nwas amazing and the food was delicious

The food is phenomenal! I was excited while traveling to have such an opportunity to have a French Paleo option. I ordered the filet mignon, with mixed veggies and sweet potatoes. It was all delicious. I held off posting to make sure I didn’t get contaminated because I was even able to order the apple crisp with df ice cream for dessert. I highly recommend this place for a nice meal.

I’ve been going to Sapiens since they opened three years ago. Family owned by a French chef and paleo expert - each dish is the delicious fruit that comes from a true labor of love. Spectacular food for folks that are paleo, GF or neither - there is something for everyone. And one of the few BYOB restaurants in AZ. ❤😊👍🏽

The whole restaurant is gluten free which makes ordering really easy. They have a lot of dairy free and some vegetarian options as well. The food is good but the portions are on the smaller end and expensive. Nice restaurant in a pretty area.

Family owned and operatwhole foods in a cozy atmosphere. Restaurant is 100% GF and dedicated kitchen so no cross contact. Must tries include the bread plate, dessert nice creams, meat loaf, and anything with the potato gratin. Chef Aurora is very committed to offering clean, whole foods. BYOB

A wonderful dinner - paleo based so everything is gluten free. Terrific menu where everyone will find something they like. Oh, and get the “bread” board appetizer. Delectable!

We ate dinner here. The staff was knowledgeable, but if they didn’t have an answer, they’d run back to ask the chef. I have multiple food allergies, and I could eat EVERYTHING on the menu, with the exception of the desserts (two custards (egg allergy) and one made with almonds (almond intolerance)). Would definitely eat there again! They are open for dinner, offer meal prep, and have special occasion brunches, for example they’re doing Mother’s Day brunch.

This place is unbelievable! 100% Gluten- Free French cuisine. Dedicated GF kitchen. They bake their signature bread, waffles and other things from tuber and root flours. After having been diagnosed Celiac last year, I've been avoiding restaurants. Even at Celiac friendly restaurants cross contamination is very common. Finally, I can order anything on the menu with my eyes closed. On our visit every bite was exquisite!! We started with the French onion soup and our minds were blown! The Paleo bread was amazing. The beet salad was wonderful!! The bruschetta was delicious. My husband had the liver and onions and said that he will be back for more. That's quite an endorsement! I had the vegetable Napoleon and knew in an instant- I was experiencing something truly wonderful. Everything had so much flavor, but light and beautiful! It really was an experience to eat here. We took home a creme brulee and a loaf of Paleo bread. We recommend this place not only for anybody with sensitivity to Gluten, but to anyone who likes to eat well and healthy.
